Nestled within a charming cottage-like setting, Kokomo Botanical Resort enchants guests with its delightful atmosphere and well-adorned accommodations. The attentive staff and helpful services, including a shuttle and provisioned kitchenettes, consistently earn high marks from visitors. Cleanliness is a hallmark of the resort, with pristine rooms and peaceful grounds.
Families appreciate the separate bedrooms, despite some finding the space snug. The serene pool area and shuttle access to well-appointed beaches are popular amenities, and many feel the resort provides good value, even if costs can be steep due to its location.

Wonderful and warm welcome, friendly and very efficient staff, great and fresh meal at the restaurant and an amazing service by Michel who deserves Six Stars, beautiful gardens and pool area. Centrally located but beaches are nearby. 10 min from the airport, greatl appointed accommodations, works well.

We spent a week here at the beginning of March.
Our room was comfy, if a tad rustic. However, what sets this property apart is the fantastic, friendly staff. They are, without exception friendly, warm and helpful.
The new restaurant is lovely and the food was delicious. I really enjoyed the Asian selections as well as the western ones.
Most of the cocktails were delicious, especially the Mojitos.
The pool area is very pretty, although a railing at both the pool and hot tub would make entering both safer.
To me, the only disadvantage of this property is its location. Although the butler transportation to the gorgeous beach worked well, it is not the same as being on the beach.
When you do arrive at the beach, the location allocated to Kokomo is beautiful and very quiet compared to the area farther down.
I would return here because of the wrmth and kindness of both the owners, Kelly and Gabrielle and the wonderful staff.

The moment you arrive at Kokomo Resort, you automatically experience a sense of calm. The feeling you experience is not by chance, but was design by architect and designer, "Mr. Kelly". Kelly took great care to incorporate each of the five elements of earth, water, fire, wood and metal into the creation of Kokomo, all of which can be found in each and every detail of the resort. In doing so, Kelly has created a space that is not only beautiful, but is an expression of being "one with nature" and is organically felt deep within the physical body.
Concierge Wenie was our first point of contact prior to our arrival. She was quick to answer all of our question and was extremely helpful as we navigated all the requirements to get into the country during Covid. Once we arrived onsite, Wenie, Pfelicia, Kiffany... all of the staff... were so helpful, attentive and truly made us feel at home. Since we arrived late in the afternoon, we decided to dine at the outdoor restaurant. Note: only dinner is being offered at this time. Chef Marco's creations were AMAZING! Each dish had depth and delicious complexity. One dish in particular that truly stood out for me was an appetizer of sautéed mushroom with warm Focaccia bread.
We were pleasantly surprised by the accommodations. In direct contrast to the high-rise beachfront hotels consisting of long corridors of unimaginative rooms, the individually placed bungalows throughout property provided a sense of seclusion and privacy. Even though our bungalow was right next to the pool/bar area, we were never disturbed by unwanted noise or distractions. The resort is centrally located on the island and not walking distance to the beach. For the beach goers, Kokomo provides complimentary shuttle service throughout the day. For more flexibility, I would recommend renting a car which runs about $40 per day.
Kokomo provided us with the perfect escape from our normal hectic lives. It gave us the opportunity to take a moment and just "breathe" for a few days. We will definitely be back again.

I don’t understand the good reviews about this hotel. First thing to know, this hotel is next to a highway in the mist of some construction. You can’t walk to any shops/restaurants unless you want to rent a japanese car with a right driver seat (which will add additional stress and cost to your supposedly relaxing vacation). This was fine with me since I knew the hotel had restaurant service. To our surprise The hotel didn’t offer any breakfast or lunch options, while all the pictures in booking showed a beautiful breakfast. So how the heck do you eat? Take a taxi, right? Wrong, if you have no cash, you can’t pay the expensive taxi rides and there’s no ATMs around (the ones nearby where out of service). My husband and I had to walk through the highway to go to the groceries store. So dangerous. I’ve never felt so trapped and anxious in any vacation i’ve taken. They also don’t provide any guidance or help with local activities when you arrive, there are no brochures and there’s no reception (you check in at the bar). Nobody carries your heavy bag from the reception to your room (ours was about 5min walk up). They charge their purified 0.5L water $2 freaking dollars!! And you can’t drink from the sink. While at the beach, there’s no food/drinks service. They do provide a cooler, but you have to go to the groceries to shop for liquor, which means you need to rent a car. One day there was some wind and all umbrellas broke and one hit me. We didn’t have umbrellas at the beach for the rest of the stay.
Giving 1 star to Winnie who was amazing and took care of us. but overall, extremely disappointed with this supposedly 4 stars hotel, worth 1 star in my opinion given the price. While absolutely beautiful I think Turks is not equipped for good tourism, which is funny because it’s the only thing they do. However, if you do decide to come, go to a beachfront hotel.
I’m also attaching the comment they wrote about my review blaming me for not doing appropriate research. Such lack of customer service and accountability for being short staffed and not offering the right experience.

We had a great week long stay at Kokomo. We found it to be expensive for what you get but the cottages are nice and clean. Definitely recommend you rent a car if you choose to stay here so you can really explore the island! The restaurant is delicious but very expensive (most places on the island are). It was hard to find info on it on their website but you can book your stay as an all inclusive or just the basic room rate which includes water and their version of a continental breakfast (yogurt, fruit, small bagels and baking). The beach where they have chairs is beautiful but it’s worth the drive to check out the other beaches the island has to offer as well!

Sweet little condo style villas hidden in the middle of the island. With this location, we recommend renting a car, bc it’s not close to the beach or grocery. The rooms have small full kitchen. Although, cooking there takes time for the burners to warm up, so dont cook hungry. The rooms could be a little warm at night, the ac is in the living room area nd we slept with our door open to the living room area.
The staff is wonderful! Very helpful, informative and kind. The area is beautiful with all the floral trees and landscaping. They do need a sign so you know where to turn off to get to the resort. But this is true all over the island, keep your eyes peeled looking for places. Kokomo was a cute place to stay. Everything was very clean and well kept. Weinie was wonderful before and during our stay. We corresponded thru email and she was prompt and gave us info we needed for our stay.

I stayed in one of the newer villas at the back. It was very clean and modern and pleasant. It’s hard to sit on the toilet as the kitchen sink is so close but you can sit sideways. It’s a great place with friendly staff especially Wenie. She organised is well and did do much. She really is a star as is her Chinese colleague. The breakfast burrito is nice and the barman so friendly and kind.
There’s a slow Caribbean vibe here as it’s not central but that’s not a bad thing. You’re close to the highway and the airport but you don’t mind and there’s a free shuttle to the most beautiful beach and sun loungers you have ever seen. It feels very exclusive. It’s not a cheap place or island but we went during American holidays.
It’s a great place and we were sad to leave after 5 nights. We went back once as my partner had left a blouse there and they kindly phoned us straight away to tell us and we collected it. I have stayed in many places around the world and it’s hard to find that sort of honesty. I highly recommend it and the lovely Wenie and her team.

Not far from anything! Ten minutes from the airport, we stayed in bungalow 212. The rooms were very nice and the kitchen was bigger than expected. The ground are beautiful with tropical landscaping. The pool area is a great place to lounge day or evening with ample seating areas. We rented a car so we went out exploring much of the day, coming back to change or rest between reservations. Felt very safe with the gate and security. Booking excursions and reservations were easy and efficient and house keeping came regularly and did a great job.
The restaurant on property was tasty but service was a bit slow. 3 hours for dinner for four was longer than we expected. The menu was mixed offerings but they excelled in the Asian style dishes.
Our concierge & host was incredibly friendly and attentive and made us feel comfortable and welcome. We would definitely book again.

My wife and I went to Kokomo because we wanted to experience the Turks and Caicos. There was talk that they were going to become Canadian at some point!
The Kokomo resort is actually a collection of small cottages set in a pretty jungle like area. It feels very homey to come back to a little cabin and walk right in instead of going up an elevator to a little room in a regular hotel. There's a very nice relaxing (small) pool area and it's very quiet which I really like. No blaring music or obnoxious guests.
One thing that turned out better than we expected is there's a shuttle to the beach with beach chairs and umbrellas for guests. Saves you money as non-guests have to pay about twenty bucks every two hours to rent chairs and umbrellas. The beach is gorgeous and it only took about 5 minutes to get there on the shuttle! This is actually faster (I'm told) that taking the elevator down from one of the beach hotels and meandering all the way through the huge hotels down to the beach.
This resort is a FRACTION of the cost of the huge beach hotels and I think is actually a nicer experience if you want privacy and quiet. Plus, you get a little kitchen in your room so you can make your own food if you want to. There's a good grocery store within walking distance so you can pick up supplies easily.
There is a restaurant at the resort too if you want to eat a meal there. The asian side of the food is very good. Best fried rice I every had. Erica, the bartender, was from Toronto so we had lots to chat about with her.
At night, you can sit outside on comfortable chairs and enjoy the stars in the common area which is very nice.
The only advice I can give is to bring a little bit of "bug spray" if you're going to Kokomo as the little "no see 'em" bugs tend to go after your ankles if you're spending time walking the little garden paths to see the flowers!
Overall, a very nice experience and well worth the money. We'll be back some day.

Peaceful oasis with great service, staff, and convenience. We had two villas for a much needed getaway and I have to say that while quaint, Kokomo is clean, comfortable and quickly feels like a home always from home. Our butlers Wenie and Karine always went above and beyond. Resident manager Gabriella always came through with excursions suggestions and help with booking! Grocery store also close by for easy meal prep in the full kitchen. Loved that the pool was never super crowded and the beach area was super private with easy access to restaurant and bar service nearby. Top notch, great, staff!
