When the taxi from the airport dropped us off, the other people in the cab worried and said that they would pray for us. The hotel is a lot nicer on the inside than first appears on the outside. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, but very slow, eat early if you have to get...

I think the rooms, like the reviews, vary pretty widely here. We spent a few nights in room 31, which was large, pretty clean, and had a sweeping balcony overlooking the town. We enjoyed it. The stairs are no joke with luggage; our room was 70 steps from the street. I can see that people would have some issues with...

We stayed for a week to celebrate our 21 anniversary. The room was immaculate. The breakfast every morning was very tasty and you can't beat the scenery. It is very convenient to have the restaurant right next to the pool . The staff was very helpful and suggestive of places to go around town. I have recommended this place to...

We had booked 2 rooms for 1 night then getting the ferry to Tortola the next day. Staff was friendly... Close to ferry terminal...taxi driver charged us $42 to travel 5 min...way overpriced! Hotel was very basic...very thin walls...heard other guests until 2 am I think we had a utility room...our room did not look like the pictures on website....

We stayed there one night before catching a ferry to Tortola. The staff was very helpful. The pool is small, but really enjoyed talking to other visitors while having a beer. We had a delicious lunch at Sugarcane grill when we arrived. You are walking distance to the town of Charlotte Amalie. Walk up "99 steps" for a nice harbour...

Bunker Hill is a quaint little hotel located right in Charlotte Amalie, the fact that it so easily blends into the surrounding buildings adding to its unlimited charm. This is by no means your quintessential Caribbean resort making it perfect for the traveller who revels in uniqueness and craves immersing themselves in the culture, vibe and beauty of a new...

We spent one night here before heading to the BVI. We had a standard 1 bed room, which was very small, but clean. The air conditioning worked extremely well and I was almost too cold. If you are spending more than one night, I would suggest getting a larger king room or 2 bed room. Check in was quick and...

This hotel was just what we needed...walking distance to downtown shopping and restaurants (though you should eat at Sugarcane Grill, on site), and to Blackbeard's Castle, the 99 Steps, and historic synagogue...all for under $150; a reasonable price by St. Thomas standards. It's a fascinating place...multiple levels with several buildings, balconies and terraces cobbled together and in a charming hodge...

The Bunker Hill Hotel (which is fiendishly difficult to find) is comprised of several buildings and sprawls uphill in the down town area. On the negative: It isn’t beachfront, only has a pair of small pools, is a bit worn looking and if you have a car parking will likely nightmarish. The room was serviceable, but on the spartan side...
