We made 2 trips to the island view guesthouse for dinner. The meal was fantastic and the atmosphere was even better. Strongly recommend if you are looking for a great meal with some of the best people on st Thomas. Only issue is you need to make reservations 2 weeks plus in advance to get in.

The setting is great overlooking the Crown Bay harbor, the food was prepared to our request, changes to the menu made without incident. Enjoyed our evening, will be back again next visit to STT. We did not stay at the hotel, just there for dinner.

We have friends that live on St. Thomas and we would not have known about this fabulous place if they had not made us the reservation. We did not stay at the Guest House but came in for dinner. Walking up the steps you get a sense of excitement knowing how tucked away it is high up above the shore....

We have traveled through St Thomas often, as a gateway to the British Virgin Islands, or to our favorite, St John, USVI. We had a villa on Tortola booked for the first week of December, and decided to "book end" our stay at IVGH. We are still high-fiving each other for making this choice! We stayed on Friday, December 2,...

Only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday for a 6:00 and 8:00 or so seating. Husband and wife own it and they enjoy the time off the rest of the days. He cooks the steaks right there on a grill a few feet above the tables. Large steaks at a great price. For $24, I got the filet and it was...

I stay here on dive adventures. Ron, Beth, and staff treat you like family. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The restaurant serves excellent food and Maxine attends to tables with speed and grace. Folks travel for miles to have Ron's Ribeye cooked perfectly on the grill nearby. I love this place

We stayed here for 1 night after spending a week in the BVI. It was a great choice. The rooms are clean and comfy, but what makes this inn special are the owners. They are lovely, including their son who helped us check in. We were fortunate to stay here on a Friday night, so their restaurant was open. It...

A bit difficult to find...the street is a bit narrow...but all in all very plesent. The room was super nice for a guest house..better than some hotels i must add. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

As a local resident, the restaurant at Island View is my go-to "occasion" place to eat. It's only open to non-stayers on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and has 2 seating times. My favorite is the steaks - Rib Eye or NY sirloin - whichever they recommend on the day. Friends get the other plates - primarily fish & chicken -...
