So, you've read all the reports of how nice of a location Magen's Bay is. That goes without saying. This resort has a nice view of the bay, from both poolside and room. The grounds are nested amidst tropical vegetation and a nice waterfall trickles from volcanic rock into the pool. The cats are an interesting and curious accent. The...

We own 4 weeks and have been coming to Magens Point Resort since 1998. When we bought our first timeshare in 1997 we didn't even look at the room, the view was so breathtaking, we knew it was paradise. There was a time that the Resort did go thru a bad time but in the last few years everything has...

What is better than the Carribean during January??? Nothing... The hot tub is up and running..yippee...the grounds are looking better. The staff is awesome. Its the type of place you can lounge all day or go for lots of activities. We snorkled, went to other Islands, went sailing, and of course the jewels!!!! I've been fortunate to be a repeat...

My experience at Magens Point Resort was a week of relaxation and beauty. It sits on a hill facing Magens Beach which is truly one of the most spectacular beaches in the world. I was provided with a setting which brought a tear to this California-boy's eye. It put our beaches to shame! The accommodations at Magens were very comfortable...

This was my first time to the Virgin Islands. We stayed at Tropic Leisure Club as part of the government timeshare. I read all the reviews and was a little nervous, but honestly, its the VI, how bad could it be. I'm not going there to spend all my time at a resort. We wanted to explore. So....first things first....RENT...

It all started with an easy checkin with Lori. Beth of housekeeping served us well; all needs were met. The housekeeping is the best we have experienced in any of our 24 weeks of timesharing including Wyndham and Marriiot. Viola continually checked in with us on our desires and tried to service them. We had much rain the first week...

We have owned timeshare at Magen for many years. There have been much improvement in the last couple of years. Magens is not the Ritz, but neither is the price. We exchanged a May week for an October week and everyone was very accomidating. My wife has bad knees and we were able to swap our unit for one with...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Flamboyan on the Bay Resort & Villas is a two and a half star, unpretentious and very relaxed resort facing Magens Bay. Our facilities include two restaurants, one Italian finer dining featuring a wine-mojito bar, and the pool sports bar with burgers, bbq, pizza and sandwiches. We offer two jacuzzis, tennis courts, a coffee-deli-wine on site shop with breakfast, a gaming room, a small fitness center offering also yoga, zumba and massage services. All our studios and villas have been tastefully redone, and are fully equipped with kitchenettes, microwaves and small fridges, plus energy efficient air conditioning units. Most units also face Magens Bay, and you can wake up to spectacular views of the bay, or watch the sun set from your balcony while sipping the cocktail of your choice.Last year RCI awarded us recognition for excellence in hospitality services, and since 2010 we have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars upgrading our facilities. We may not be for everyone, true. But if you are looking for that "limin" effect that locals brag about.. come stay with us. We promise you an unforgettable experience. Flamboyan on the Bay Resort & Villas is what the islands should be all about. ... more   less
