Visited in early May 2017 as a family. We booked 2 rooms and chose the all-inclusive option. I definitely recommend this. The four of us are not big eaters and certainly did not over indulge at the bar with alcoholic drinks, but typically those 3 meals each day, including drinks, appetizers and gratuity, added up close to $500 for our...

Had a great time at Bolongo Bay. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Had super bowl in the beach with big screen tv's and plenty of food and drinks. Room was nice and roomy and had a balcony to sit and watch the bar in the background along with beach. Enjoyed watching 3 weddings on the beach, plenty of water...

The resort is family owned, you are greeted by the owners when you enter. I have stayed here many times, always a wonderful place to stay. Friendly, affordable and with a lot of activities from restaurants to water sports. The rooms are quiet, air conditioning works well and the water is always safe. You will never regret staying here at...

The beach and outside areas are very nice. Our room could have used some major updating and work on it. The bathroom should be totally redone. I didn't sleep well at all our entire stay. The pillows weren't nice and neither was the mattress. As long as I stayed out of our room, we had a great time. Our room...

This hotel was in a very nice location. From the time we got to the hotel everybody we can in contact with couldn't be nicer and helpful. We stayed in an ocean view room. It was nice and very spacious but it was tired. The shower was very small and could have used some work. The beach was ok but...

I have read a number of reviews of Bolongo, both positive and negative, and so will try to cut to the chase in this one. If you want a Westin or Four Seasons kind of experience (huge, ultra luxurious, impersonal), don't come here. If you long for the kind of hotel you may have stayed at years ago (smaller, low-rise...

At first glance resort looks like an old super 8. We checked in, We received our info on all inclusive items, not included were: water, premium bar liquors, and extra entrees. That's fine, but there was no info anywhere on what booze is "premium" , water bottles are 3-4 dollars each, and the entrees are pretty much the same at...

I read many of the reviews on here prior to our trip. Seemed like people either loved it or hated. Honestly, I think it is based on your expectations. If you are expecting a large resort, with a grand marble entrance, with tons of staff, room service, tons of guests, fighting over a beach chair and all that then this...
