Just returned from the Beach Towers.Upon arrival we were checking in and we recieved a king size bed .There were 4of us!! So we returned to the front desk and were told they made a mistake and gave us a new room. When we entered our room it was a handicapped room with only a shower and no Balcony. So...

Having traveled extensively through the US and abroad I would consider myself a very experienced traveler. Let me say from the beginning that the service at this resort is beyond appalling, it left me speechless multiple times and is what I will focus on. What I am going to say now is only if you are out of your mind...

We started out 3-week honeymoon at Atlantis. Despite all the mixed reviews, we really wanted to check this place out after seeing it on telly and our travel agent suggested it for us as part of out honeymoon. After check-in we took our own bags up to our room on the 3rd floor. We opened the door and saw TWO...

Way overpriced ! At these prices, there is a lot better to find in the world Restaurants were difficult to book and way too expensive for the value they offer. The room that we had was simply bad. The waterpark area was perfect and also the dolphin swim was very good (although expensive again). I would not recommend this hotel...

We loved everything about the Atlantis resort! The beach Tower was a bit cheaper but the rooms and facilities were great. You can go to anyplace at the hotel. It is all connected and beautiful. I can not believe that people had complaints. The staff were always willing to help. We had the gourmet meal plan and the food was...

First, the obvious stuff: 1. Everything in the hotel is overpriced. You read it correctly in other reviews - a SINGLE breakfast buffet is almost $30; a medium pepperoni pizza is almost $25; a small (0.5liter) bottle of water is $5. Realize this when you go into the place and you wont be shocked by the daily food bill. 2....

My boyfriend and I just returned from a 6 day/5 night stay at the Beach Tower in Atlantis. We had 100 degree, sunny, beautiful weather every single day. When we booked through the Travel Agent we had a Terrace view room. When we arrived at the Hotel, my boyfriend asked the gentleman at the front desk if it was possible to be...

The lack of value was the real problem at Atlantis. The hotel itself is like a huge shopping mall (eg Mall of America). The surroundings consist, basically, of a big water park for kids. EVERYTHING is extremely overpriced. The lowest priced rooms were $400 each per night. We had a view of the tar paper roof and there wasn't even...

This was our first visit to the Atlantis. It was the week before and through July 4th, 2008. I took my wife, daughter and son-in-law and two grandsons. I would say that the Atlantis is a cross between SeaWorld (but many times the size and one of the largest aquariums in the world), a large Las Vegas resort (with expensive...

I have to agree that this is a very beautiful place, the different aquariums are awesome, and I'm glad my family and I experienced it. But it is a place that once you've been there, you're probably better off going somewhere else the next trip. These people aren't kidding when they say it's expensive. It's outrageously expensive. A bag of...
