This hotel is definitely dated. But the rate to stay there reflects that. With that said, it is my last negative comment. The room was Clean when we got there and cleaned every day even so far that the sheets were changed out every day. Even though dated. Shower and sink worked great. Bed was comfortable. Staff was exceptional. Raven...

Our one-night stay at Flamingo Bay was very pleasant. We had a friendly check-in experience and lunch at their restaurant. The room was clean, with a simple (albeit old-fixtured) bathroom. All the staff we encountered were kind. It’s not a “resort” and it’s not “fancy” or new, but it’s a clean, well-maintained place to sleep and prepare for your other...

Way cheaper than the resorts, but decent quality. I'm not gonna lie, it's definitely a bit more beat up than the resorts, but it's clean, safe, and simple. Think of it has the Bahamas Super 8 or Motel 6, but you also get a wristband for the Taino resort. It also has a ferry that goes across the Lucaya Marketplace,...

The pictures put out to advertise the flamingo Bay hotel are misleading completely. The place is in a poor state of disrepair. No security boxes in the room or at the front desk, you are on your own. The employees reflect the pessimism which is in the air. It may be that the owners don't really care about their employees,...

My friends and I booked a cruise and stay here and realized it was poorly advertised!!! If you book an all inclusive it is really not all inclusive! The rooms were OK and the staff was nice. We asked 5 times for a blow dryer until we actually got one. The pool is actually across the street at Tiano beach...

I would rather stay at a Super 8 motel than this place, not knocking Super 8. The clerk was not very nice and the rooms are very out dated and in need of repairs. The floors were not clean but the room overall cleanliness was ok. The mattress have holes in the box spring that are visible. You are across...

I was leary about the place from others' reviews but my husband and I were pleasantly welcomed by Vivien and Big Mama upon our check-in. Forgive my memory of names but everyone from the gift shop workers to the ferry driver to the other shifts of customer service agents were such wonderful people! We enjoyed our stay and it's just...

Nice area - But the room needed to be remodeled... years ago. It is basic living and although I never really felt nervous or anxious, I wouldn't select this hotel if I was a single gal. For a bunch of guys - OK; Or even a guy traveling solo - Not bad. But a single or group of gals -...

The location is ideal for anyone that has simple needs, likes to explore, and appreciates friendly service. The ferry was pleasant and when the boat was empty we were treated to a quick tour of the area on the way back. My room was always spotless, the staff were friendly, and the view of the harbor each morning was a...

The hotel itself isn't great. But you can't beat the location! You have access to the Taino Beach Resort across the street and it is quite possibly the most beautiful place I've ever been to. The pool is incredible as well. (Swim up bar too!) You have to take a ferry (run by the hotel) to get into downtown, which...
