I only stayed for two nights but I had a great time. The woman at the front desk everyone is talking about wasn't there when I was. My friends and I were welcomed by a man who explained everything to us before check-in. After checking in we were given a tour of the resort and motel by a different man... More

A TravelZoo deal that I couldn't resist (but should have), this hotel was a disappointment. The only warm and welcoming staff is trying to hook you into his time-share spiel, the facilities are dismal and the room is on a par with a Red Roof Inn or Motel 6. The pool looks nice, but it was too cold to enjoy.... More

So, I was wary of this place after reading all of the reviews. My husband and I stayed at two hotels this being the first place, and an all inclusive resort the second place. I have to say we enjoyed this place a lot more! Yes, they will ask you to go to orientation, but they give you a cocktail... More

Let me start at the beginning. We pulled up in front of this place that we thought our driver had taken us to the wrong place. (I picked this for the pool for my son) It took over 45 minutes to check in. We had 2 rooms one for my handicapped parents which they were perturbed that they needed a... More

So as part of a Discovery Sun cruise & stay package a big mistake we made within itself & which I read is being cancelled as of September 6th 2011, we stayed at the Flamingo Bay "Hotel" & Marina. Once the van driver pulled up in front of a blue Motel looking building I knew we had a problem. As... More

Yes, there was one lady at the receptionist desk that was not all smiles, she was more like very straight forward but with a small amount of cordiality. However, there was another lady who was always very nice, helpful and each time I saw her, she was smiling!! The hotel could use some updating, the rooms are basic, but have... More

Hello everyone, I stayed at the Flamingo Bay after I booked with Discovery Cruise. I had read all the bad reviews for this hotel and was a little concerned about what to expect. First the cruise was awesome. The Discovery is not a high class ship but it is much fun. Then as we arrived at the port we were... More

We love the resort and especially the huge swimming pool. But the service was horrible. We made our reservation 6 months in advance but we still had to wait two (2) hours after we showed up before we could get the keys to our room. The swimming pool is huge (between 500,000 to 750,000 gallons) and really beautiful. Room is... More

After looking at the website and reading various reviews, we chose this hotel and was anticipating our stay there. After checking into our room, we very shortly checked out! I can only tell you about the room. The bathroom was not clean looking. The grout around the tub and floor was black and mildewy--the tub looked old and dirty. The... More
