After being solicited by a hawker, my friend and I agreed to view the presentation - the hawker BEGGED us to attend as her commission was based on attendance after the initial invitation. Prima facie, Island Seas looked OK. the location is pretty - right on the beach with a group of buildings facing the canal,. There is a large...

I went to Island Seas with my family on a timeshare exchange and had extremely low expectations. The reviews here had me expecting bed bugs, horrible service, and dirty rooms. I ended up having a great time. Check-in Slow and tiring, but make sure you tip the person at the reception. $10 will go a long way. We got some...

The fact that this is even called a resort is an absolute joke. Upon arriving, our room had a foul odor, and the floors were incredibly sandy requiring me to sweep up. Welcome to the Island Seas! The little food that was available was awful and overpriced. You would figure that at a "resort" they would have food available most...

After reading all the negative reviews I was very skeptical about staying here however it was not at all like people wrote. I did call ahead and asked a few questions. I also let them know that the reviews were really bad. Don't know if that helped or not. We did an exchange, got a ground floor 2 bdrm suite...

Resort is beautiful.... right on the water. Our unit (one bdrm) was spacious and very clean. Maid services is helpful and kitchen is fully stocked. Pool and grounds are clean. Had no problem with security, everything was safe. Hotel offers hourly shuttle buses to Port Lucaya which is awesome, because taxie fares can reallly ad up. On monday's they offer...

I read the reviews prior to travelling and now wonder what all of the complaining was about. Perhaps if you are used to vacationing at the Ritz then this resort won't compare. However for a good basic holiday on a gorgeous beach with no one else on it, this place was a fantastic deal. We had no trouble at all...

Over a number of years the services have devalued about 50%. There is a security officer named is Green, bad mouthing the great people who try to take the guests from Islandseas on great affortable day trips. He hits on the female guests. But the most fun and the besttime I had in Freeport Bahamas at Islandseas, was when I...

Travelled many places and have never been so disappointed. Saw many people asking for management. Chaos, long lines, no water/electricity at times, rooms flooded due to rains and no one to assist w/mopping, floors filthy, MANY items in room did not work. As we attempted to change into the 3rd room we decided to stay in the 2nd since we...

Island Seas seas resort needs to be upgraded desperately!! We were told that a major facelift will begin in December. There are basic hotel essentials that they must embrace. The rooms must be thoroughly cleaned...our bathroom reeked of urine and once I brought it to their attention the room was thoroughly cleaned. We were located in Building H which overlooked...

words cannot adequately describe my disgust at the way we were treated at the Island Seas Resort today. We were invited to attend their timeshare information session (supposed to be 90 minutes) which we did in good faith as my husband and I have confirmation for Cranberry resort in Ontario and my sister & her husband are looking seriously at...
