We flew to Mangrove Cay in a private airplane. Airline service is also available to Mangrove Cay. Swains Cay is a great place to relax. Cheryl and her staff go the extra step to make sure you have a great experience. No need to be an experience fly fisherman to enjoy the thrill of catching a bonefish which is a...

It's not easy to find a vacation place where two fisherman and a non-fishing wife can have a great time together but this is it. For me, the smiles on my 23 year-old son's face as he fly cast and caught bones was worth every minute. At the end of every day we could come back to the lodge to...

Swains Cay is a great place to go for bonefishing. The food is decent, the rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. They work with some of the best fishing guides on the island. A little money invested in this place could really take it to the next level.

I traveled to Swain's Cay over the Christmas week with my family. Cheryl and her team are fantastic--welcoming, friendly, easy-going, helpful. We don't fish, but took a half-day excursion with Dougie, a guide who let us do a little fishing, snorkeling, and sight-seeing around the beautiful waters around Andros. (Highly recommended). We kayaked, biked, swam, relaxed at the beach--picture-perfect opportunity...

We just returned from Swain's Cay about a week ago and we wish we had never left! We aren't fishermen and were looking for a quiet place to stay with a nice beach and friendly people. If you want to completely de-stress and rejuvenate this is the place for you. The beach was incredible. I don't think anyone walked past...

Enjoy your own private, beautiful Bahama beach on peaceful, non-tourist, Mangrove Key. Rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious, not fancy, not a lot of amenities. Food is casual but hearty. With only a dozen other guests, we got to meet some very interesting people from all over the world. We swam, read, bicycled, hit a few roadside conch stands, chatted...

This was my first time on the Island of Andros and I totally enjoyed my experience at the Swains Cay Lodge. Upon checking in, I was happy to learn that my room had an ocean view and it had two large beds. My room at the lodge was clean and the onsite restaurant/bar was convenient. The food was top notch...

We were actually staying next door but stopped here to inquire whether we could have dinner with them later that evening. The receptionist was very welcoming and said of course we were welcome to join them. When we came by later, we first stopped for a drink at the bar and Pam, the bartender, asked my name. I first thought,...

Swains Cay Lodge is a wonderful place to be pampered after a great day of bone fishing. The rooms are clean, quiet, secure and comfortable. The staff were top notch from the amazing kitchen crew, the transportation crew, the front office and let's not forget Pam at the bar! Cheryl, the owner, was on the property and happy to make...

If you want a pleasant, quiet place to stay with great fishing this is the place to stay. We had horrid weather , rain and strong winds, but guides made the best of it and we all caught bones. We were a group of 10, 8 women and 2 men.
