We loved it. We stayed 6 days. Not a lot open on Sundays or holidays but we toured the whole island and went to their holiday emancipation festivities and had a great time. Room and linens were clean. The food at SANTANAS was the best we ever ate! All the locals are friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed the... More

This is a big disappointment. Over priced and ruin down, broken everything. The air conditioning is very noisy and completely ineffective. WiFi in the lobby buy not anywhere else. If it was not for the fact it was a one night stay, I would have left.

Just a warning that I was unable to stay at the hotel, unfortunately. My 5 star review is based on the customer service I got from Ann, the manager, and Teresa, front desk clerk. I just got here today and as I came into the hotel everything was pretty empty ( you come in through the restaurant ). Teresa told... More

The hotel is very run down. The air units are too small for the room so it was 90 degrees in our room all night. No phone in the room. No one on site or way to get in touch with anyone from 5pm until the next morning at 8:30am. Not sure what was going on in the hotel but... More

Staff and room clean. Bed was the most comfortable of all the hotels we stayed at in the Bahamas even the 5 star resort on Harbour Island. Hotel could use an updated bathroom but great for a 3 star hotel. Microwave and mini fridge in the room. Most rooms if not all have a great balcony overlooking the ocean.

We visited Exuma December 30th thru January 2, 2016, and it was by far one of our best vacations. My cousin and I booked our trip very last minute and the Exuma Palms was out only option. The rooms were clean, the service great (breakfast was made to order), and the Wednesday night happy hour was fun. We met the... More

We went to Exuma during low season and we had the hotel pretty much for ourselves. What makes this hotel great is the attention provided by Anne and her nephew Shannon, very friendly and happy people. They'll be happy to give you some recommendations on what to visit during your stay, which restaurants to go as well as help you... More

The hotel was very quiet during our stay and there was not much to do. It was very close to the hotel but a distance from the town. There are only a few rooms in the hotel. Fantastic!!!! It is very hard to find a better one in the world. The hotel is clean but needs a lot of investment. I just can not understand how such a beautiful property is in such a bad shape. The girls that work there are LOVELY!!! All of them!!!

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We are a new hotel on Exuma, in the midst of a transition, striving to bring you casual but fine dining, ensuring you have fun, minimizing your impact on the environment and maybe teaching you something along the way. Our on-site marine biologist Nicole will be happy to assist you in your personal discovery of the local flora and fauna. She has also implemented many environmental reforms guiding the resort to a more sustainable and harmonious place without hindering quality nor comfort. Because her passion lies with the ocean, Nicole is very knowledgeable about the marine environment and is willing to help you organize excursions. You can experience the world famous swimming pigs, James Bond's Thunderball Grotto, the world's oldest marine conservation park or discover the life beneath the turquoise, clear water. We want you to have a nice, relaxing holiday, enjoying local customs and activities, but ultimately coming back to the comfort of your ocean view room with private balcony. Here you can enjoy coffee in the morning or Caribbean cocktails as the sun sets. We would love to share our passions and values with you, in a way that will only enhance your vacation, leaving your footprints in the pristine white sand, and not on the environment. We are not a chain hotel, therefore we offer the ultimate personalized experience for every guest, including young adventurers. We look forward to sharing our piece of paradise with you, and your visit. ... more   less
