Comfortable and well-equipped and great location fairly close to George Town. The view from the spacious full length covered deck was remarkable. Hosts Jean Louis and Jaqueline extremely gracious and accommodating. Very private and in a quiet neighborhood.

This place was very wonderful. My girlfriend and I just stayed here. Jean-Louise and Jacqueline are the hosts/owners. They are very accomodating and helpful. The location is great if you want peacefulness and tranquility. It is right on the Bonefish Flats, which are shallow sandbars that become exposed with the incoming tide. It is popular to fish for Bonefish. There are some houses nearby. The owners live in a bungalow next to Bella Vista. They are respectful if you want your privacy needs met. They have two dogs, Bella and Princess, and a cat, Mina. They are all friendly. You have to earn Princess's trust though; she is wary. She likes being fed leftover food from dinner. So about the place: We stayed on the lower level. For a couple, it suited our needs. There is plenty of lighting, and there is a screened-in porch out back the kitchen, with two benches and a table. It is really perfect for breakfast. There are sand flies (no-see-ums I guess they are called), which can't be avoided. Bug spray may work. I got bit, but I didn't have a response like my girlfriend. I have to say that the bed here is phenomenal. It is just the right firmness and size. I felt amazing. Way better than our expensive Sleep Number at home. The shower is great too. It is a natural stone shower, with a partition, so you can't shower in private unless you close the bathroom door. Great shower head. First aid is supplied too, which is helpful. Pots, pans, utensils, plateware, all provided. They have a small library, though many books were in French. They have more books in the upstairs apartment, and I think a lot of them are in English. There are two Adirondack chairs in the living room. It's okay if you are just sitting there and chatting or on your phone. Wifi provided. Outside of the porch there is a deck, which can be accessed via the sliding glass door in the living room. It is small, yet provides a nice relaxation with chase beach loungers. They have a washer, and a hanging clothesline. Snorkel gear is provided, and they have kayaks to paddle the flats. The ambiance is very nice. It isn't fancy, but we weren't looking for that. Time and beauty were in the minds of Jacqueline and Jean-Louise when they furnished this place. It is small and cozy. They have A/C and fans. I would say the only suggestions I have would be to have a radio or stereo, a TV and a couch inside. They are in the process of getting electronics into the place. A couch would have been nice, but there just isn't any room, so I see why they chose the Adirondack chairs. After the guests above had left, the owners invited us for an aperitif upstairs. That was very nice of them. They are such lovely people. The upstairs apartment is incredible, but this review is for the place downstairs. I highly recommend these charming quarters, first because of the kindness and love received from Jacqueline and Jean-Louise, second because of its location, and third because of its hominess and coziness.
