My parents and I really enjoyed our stay with Mark and Beatrice at Turtles Nest Bahamas. The room was comfortable and clean, and Mark and Beatrice were super friendly. They were always available whenever we had questions, and Mark provided some really great tips for nearby beaches and things to do on the island. The apartment had almost everything we needed: plenty of fresh drinking water, a coffee maker and toaster, dishes and utensils, a wonderful shower with a waterfall shower head, a large bathroom, air conditioning, and comfortable beds. The only thing that could have made our stay more enjoyable was a comfortable armchair or small sofa so that we had seating options besides the bed or dining room table. But that's a small thing. We also really enjoyed the resident guard dog, Sasha. She's super friendly and affectionate. The property is relatively quiet as well, only natural sounds at night. There was also an outdoor shower for washing off sand, and we had a private patio area to enjoy. Would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend!

My two girlfriends and I stayed in a place here during Xmas. The hosts are amazing. They helped us in so many ways I can’t even begin to describe. They took us snorkeling for a small extra fee then took us to an amazing beach with turtles! The property itself is quiet, and while not on the beach, it’s an amazing value for what you pay. Especially For the area. There’s An adorable patio as well and we enjoyed our daily coffee on it very much. These folks started their business right before CoVID so I know they were very appreciative of the business and I would definitely return!!!

I was travelling solo for a few days in Exuma and couldn’t have found a better place to stay! Mark and Beatrice were incredible hosts. Full of information, recommendations, tips and stories as well as so welcoming in their stunning home, which had brilliantly themed rooms and the other guests seemed really friendly too. The breakfast was delicious and they helped sort taxis/pick ups for me. I walked to Hoopers Bay where the turtles were as it was so close. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone travelling, be it solo, couple or family.

We had a Great stay here at Turtle's nest. the apartment (Beach Bum)was very spacious, supercute and equipped with a full kitchen(precious if you travel on a budget, as dining out in Exuma can be pretty expensive). The host were fantastic, friendly and very helpful on lots of things, like lending us some snorkeling gear, booking taxis from and to the airport, giving precious infos about tours and things to do. The breakfast Is AWESOME, we skipped some days to save some money, but 15 dollars for all the good stuff you'll find on the table Is absolutely a very good price, Exuma-wise. Eggs, bacon,toast,fresh fruits, Nutella,jams, yogurt,cereals,and, a great Surprise for us italians, Nespresso capsules and milk foamer, we could drink cappuccino yayyyy! They have a dog, their name Is Sasha and she's an absolute cutie pie.We shamelessly snagged all the cuddle time we could, because she's such a sweetie and we couldn't help ourselves. Thank you so much Mark and Beatrice, you really made our trip to Exuma unforgettable ❤️

The bed and breakfast of Beatrice and Mark was a real delight to stay at in these times. During Ovid we wanted to stay somewhere clean and safe and it was the right choice. Impeccably clean, renovated and very comfy, and great location on Exuma (car needed). They have 2 self catering apartments and some b&b rooms. We opted for the b&B room and didn't regret it. A delicious breakfast can be ordered and Beatrice and Mark are always happy to give advice for activities to do in Exuma. in the evening we enjoyed sitting on the porch with a beer in our hands and watching the sun go down. Needless to say, the island is absolutely stunning. Go, you won't regret it!

I visited Exuma on my own to explore the island and have some quiet time to myself and Turtles Nest was a perfect place to stay. The hosts are fantastic- couldn’t have been kinder and friendlier- they went above and beyond at every step. The building is really lovely and the hospitality fantastic. Great location- near beautiful beaches and not far from the airport and George Town. 10/10 would recommend! Already missing the view and I’ll be back I hope.

Mark and Beatrice are the most amazing hosts you could ask for. They made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived and they are very knowledgeable about the island and can help you plan your activities. Their bed and breakfast is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay. Sascha, their dog, is so friendly and loves to play with guests. Mark and Beatrice went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They showed us around the island, took us shopping, and even went snorkeling with us. They also cooked us some delicious meals. They truly have the motto "come as a friend and leave as family" down to a science. We had such a wonderful time at Mark and Beatrice's B&B. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and unforgettable vacation in the Bahamas.

A little paradise we’re you’re treated as family and we’re you feel like home. Everything was as perfect as it seemed online. Beatrice and Mark are the most thoughtful host, they provided us with all the information we needed, helped us with the taxi, car renting, groceries and even lent a kayak and diving equipment. The apartment is really comfortable, clean and kitchen contains everything you need. The balcony is perfect to eat our meals or drink a coffe. The location is good. They went way beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Thanks for everything Beatrice and Mark. Oh, and Sasha, she is the best company. ☺️

We stayed at Turtle’s Nest for six nights and couldn’t be happier with our choice.
The room was fantastic—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped—but the real highlight was the incredible staff, Mark and Beatrice. They went above and beyond to assist us with everything we needed, giving the best tips of what to do in the island, arranging a taxi to the property, renting a car, booking the swimming pigs tour, and even lending us a kayak to explore the nearby lazy river. Even one day Mark took us to do snorkel with him.
We had breakfast one morning, and it was delicious. A special part of our stay was being greeted by Sasha, the joyful dog, each time we returned.
Staying at Turtle’s Nest truly enhanced our Exuma experience, and we’ll definitely be back!

Thank you and the only boat rental company on the island requires their boats to be returned every night to their yard for insurance reasons..
This does not apply to our kayaks and paddleboard which we provide free for our guests use when staying at our beach properties of Sandy Palms or Coral Sands.
