If your looking for 5 star accomodation pass this one by. But if your looking for a great place to stay, with great basic food, Friendly staff and locals at a sensible price. This is the best one I have ever stayed in. Not all rooms are en-suit and the plumbing can be a little unpredictable but still a great...

Came here for a Bar Meal after setting up in local campsite . Nice friendly lass behind the bar. I made a point of asking what meals were homemade as I suffer from a couple of severe food allergies .i decided to have the Chicken Tikka Masala - and I checked again that it was homemade and what it contained...

Travelling with my son for Aberystwyth Uni Open Day. Arrived about 8:40pm (Late due to massive traffic jam on M4 near Newport. Staff are friendly and I was still able to order a meal (Fish and chips) to go with my pint of beer. The food was standard pub fare and very acceptable. The twin room is upstairs from the...

Received a warm welcome when we arrived for drinks on a wet and windy Sunday afternoon. Good selection of beers on draught. We sat on the settle and enjoyed our drinks as we perused the menu looking for somewhere to dine next weekend for mom's 87th birthday. Menu looked cheap and cheerful so before we left we had a peep...

Probably the worst place I have ever had lunch at. Bad customer service and pitiful food. If I could rate it lower I would. We experienced the 'hot baguette' and 'chips' I regret this experience on a regular basis. The atmosphere was incredibly negative this correlated with the service provided. Never again!

Stopped here with six friends whilst doing the Trans Cambrian Mountain Bike 3 day trip across wales. Hotel and staff were great with sorting bike storage and coping with wet muddy mountain bikers. Rooms were clean and comefortable, dinner and breakfast were great, and the beer was good. A really great value place to stay - will be back!

We were 3 and a half hours into our journey to West Wales from West Yorkshire and were getting desperate for a toilet and food stop. We arrived in Llangurig and spotted the Blue Bell Inn and turned into the very large car park at the rear. We went down the slope and into the back door and, wonder of...

Popped in yesterday for a quick half & to enquire about booking a lunch table for a large party of chums this weekend. Had my dog with me, so paused in the entranceway to ask whether dogs were welcome. Before I could even open my mouth, the young woman behind the bar barked, abrasively: "Sorry we don't allow dogs." You...

Touring Wales, we were lost. stopped at the Bluebell inn to seek help. Owner/Staff could not have been more friendly and helpful if they tried. Downloaded an app for me to use as a Sat-Nav. And gave us a handy map to take away. We had a couple of drinks and stood and chatted for a while. The place was...

We booked rooms for 12 lawyers from Tunbridge Wells, for a cross Wales charity walk and were able to pre-order the food and allocate rooms in advance. The staff at the inn were all very helpful indeed and made the job of our support crew very straightforward. The rooms were clean and tidy and we all had a delicious bar...
