A brilliant stay. Beautiful modern room, very comfy bed with crisp clean fresh white sheets, modern powerful shower, all the amenities you could ever require - it's the small touches like full bottle shampoo, conditioner AND body wash / moisturizer - not 121's that really trip this B&B from great, to brilliant. Surrounded by rolling green hills and lots of great walks that the staff are more than happy to direct you on what's best, how to see the most etc. On that note the staff are lovely, incredibly warm, welcoming and friendly. All in all, great!

I really don't want to promote/praise this place as it will make it too popular and then be much harder to book. Lovely staff, nice rooms, good gastropub food. What's not too like?? But please keep it quiet & to yourself. PS car park has big pot holes-nothing is perfect

Our stay could not have been more delightful. From the moment that we walked through the door we were warmly welcomed and that welcome continued throughout our time at the Three Hills. All the staff were attentive and helpful without being unctuous, and they universally went the extra mile. For example, at breakfast we asked why the hotel had its name (there were no hills in sight) and not only did the waitress tell us the reason, but she also printed off the information about the "hills" and told us how to get there. This would be remarkable at any time, but given the difficulty of finding good staff, is exceptional. They should take a bow for the quality of their recruitment and training. I went with a friend and we had a twin room which was very comfortable with comfortable beds and linen, a huge and powerful shower, a coffee machine and generous supplies of water.

A warm welcome for us and our horribly wet dog (the weather was atrocious) - she even had a supply of dog towels waiting for her! Warm comfortable hotel with outstanding food and delightful staff. Both breakfasts and dinner were fabulous. Our room in the guesthouse annex was sparkling clean and very comfortable, and the hotel even provided the dog with a bed of her own! Full marks all round!

Simply the best pub/hotel I know. There is attention to detail in the rooms, the bar and the restaurant. Lovely garden by the Granta. The food is excellent with a varied menu and a good wine list. The staff are all exceptional, very welcoming from the moment of arrival. I shall be back regularly.

Everything about The Three Hills oozes atmospere, attention to detail, friendliness and charm. The staff are a rare delight and made us feel special as soon as we arrived which with a glass of chilled Chardonay, was spent in "The Snug" which had open wood fires crackling away............superb.

Gorgeous, gorgeous place! Rooms were super stylish and the whole place decorated beautifully. We had a fleeting visit but it certainly made a grey and dismal January a whole lot brighter. The food was excellent - both the dinner and breakfast. The Chef visiting the tables really added to the whole dining experience. We will be back! Thank you so much!

My partner and I walked 8 miles to The Three Hills from our home, taking in an amazing winter sunset from the top of the tallest burial mound nearby (where the pub gets its name from). Our room was cosy and comfortable with everything we needed and more, including crisp white sheets, milk in the fridge and a coffee machine. After a lounge in the bath, we enjoyed a wonderful dinner in the atmospheric bar before retiring. Breakfast the next morning was amazing and set us up well for the walk home. We'd definitely stay again and will recommend The Three Hills to friends and family.

I hardly ever do reviews but !! Well I have been staying here for 12 months now and nearly every week, in all that time I can not fault one thing. I have been lucky to travel the world and stay/eat in the best places it has to offer, but I must say the staff are amazing and the House keeping team are faultless making it feel like my second home. The attention to detail is outstanding and I wish they all looked after my home in the North Yorks Moors. I cannot praise Three Hills team enough and if you are near Newmarket or Cambridge it is the most peaceful and calm place to stay.

A wonderful dinner and stay. Good menu choice and all food was delicious - the monkfish was a big hit!!! Breakfasts also very tasty. Rooms very nicely decorated and very clean. Some lovely touches like the radio playing and the lighting set to ‘cosy’ when you arrive. Two couples stayed in the rooms away from the pub and one stayed in the pub - all the same quality. We were clearly informed of rooms sizes so knew one room would be cosier. However it was the ‘team’ who really made our stay special - the chef who popped out to check we were happy, the lovely lady who put the fire on for us in the snug, the young lady who showed us to our rooms, all the front of house staff who were friendly, helpful and wanted to ensure we were having the best time and everyone else working hard in the background to make it a very well oiled machine. Best service we have encountered for ages. You are lucky to have such a wonderful team - they created such a lovely relaxed atmosphere in your very pretty pub.
