I met a friend for a coffee and to catch -up, we met at Miskin Manor Hotel and sat in the lounge area. We had not booked, but it was quite quiet. We ordered Tea and also had a snack of savoury scones. The scones were well presented and delicious, just right for a light lunch. They had cream cheese and...

We stayed in a beautiful room and the service was second to none, we had a small problem which was resolved immediately by the duty manager. We will be returning now that we have found this local gem!! The evening meal was excellent, large portions and delicious.

The hotel was really quite something, a stunning building and amazing grounds. The gym facilities were great too, despite some of the equipment being a bit older than what I'm used to. The staff were very friendly and helpful, despite there being a wedding on that weekend so I imagine they were very busy and had a lot on their...

First time to Miskin Manor and what a stunning setting! Even with the slightly eery mist the scenery was beautiful with a stunningly inviting and warm interior. Booking was easy if not a little taken aback by quite a direct booking agent. Didn't matter too much, we were booked at a time that was convenient for our party of six....

My wife & I would like to thank everyone from Miskin for the service & assistance they gave us over the weekend we spent with them to get married. The service provided in the run up to the big day was also excellent, when there were a couple of issues they were dealt with efficiently & effectively. Ourselves & our...

We stayed here for a couple of nights after my wife, who uses this hotel regularly on business trips, insisted we come - I'm glad she did! This is a really nice old style manor house hotel with lots of interesting period and slightly quirky (in a good way) features. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and couldn't...

This hotel is really beautiful. Surrounded by magnificent grounds. The inside is just as quirky with its non conventional building. The twisting corridors and artifice, a little bit of History on show. The food was average, but I feel it would be unfair to judge this hotel on the simple buffet offered. The next time I would have a meal....

Thank you for taking the time to post your review and are pleased that you enjoyed the individuality that Miskin Manor has to offer. It was a shame that you only sampled the buffet in your event, which was pre-selected. We feel very sure that on your next visit to Miskin Manor you will enjoy the delights of our dining...

Lovely old building and beautiful gardens. Good breakfast and FABULOUS lounge with an open fire, it was so cosy. Be careful booking the 'special rate' though - would have been cheaper for us to book online! And one receptionist was a bit sharp, but I would definitely stay again. Great location too!

Had a nice stay at Miskin Manor. The grounds and approach road are still a little unkept but the building itself is beautiful and service much improved since it was taken over last year. A really nice oak-paneled lounge and bar, with a real fire for the winter nights and original sandstone windows and animal heads are slightly counter-balanced by...

Thank you for taking the time to post your review and greatly appreciate some of the compliments you have made. Sadly the initial approach is managed by the Rhys-Williams estate not us and as you enter the gates you are greeted with well-kept grounds and clear signage throughout our grounds. We have had the pleasure of being the winners of...

Myself and My partner together with our 2 children, aged 2 and 5 visited Miskin Manor for Afternoon Tea, for My partners birthday. Lovely hotel and surroundings, and staff were all very friendly however we were a little disappointed with the tea itself. We had ordered one traditional and one savoury tea for Myself and My partner and a child's...

Many thanks for taking the time to post your review and will ensure that the staff are made aware of your positive comments. We are surprised by the comments as normally our guests are asking us to take home the extra that they are unable to eat, but we do listen to the comments made and will pass this onto...
