Gem of a B&B run by Maureen with the help of Orca the 17 year old cat. Maureen is a great host and her breakfast cooking is sumptuous. Double room ensuite was very spacious and clean with views over Dundrum Bay. Room to leave bikes in security at entrance to B&B. Just not enough time for a proper lie in...

Having spent the day in Tollymore Forest Park and Newcastle we decided to stay in Dundrum for the night which has a couple of small and welcoming pubs. The following morning we walked up to Dundrum Castle to have a look around the old ruins before driving the short distance to Murlough Nature Reserve where we walked through onto the...

Warm welcome from Maureen. Cosy and comfortable surroundings with warm colours and textures all around. Breakfast was special. So glad we came here. Maureen was a wonderful host, Dundrum is a beautiful place and it has some very lovely places to eat within a few steps of the front door! Perfect for a weekend away. Highly recommended.

My husband and I stated here for our anniversary . It was homely, relaxing quiet. The area is beautiful . Bedroom viewed onto Dundrum bay. The little fine features in the room just made it beautiful. Breakfast was personal made to each ones liking. Thankyou Maureen.

There are nice touches in the room, a comfortable bed, and a very nice ensuite bathroom and shower. The breakfast is delicious, with a beautiful view with flowers inside and out. Location is very good, right on the main street of town, and a short...

A delightful, reasonably priced small b&b with comfortable rooms. Maureen served us a delicious, tasty breakfast. Walks along the estuary recommended as is a visit to Dundrum castle. Very good local pub restaurant two doors along, do book in advance.

Just back from a stay at Carriage House, Dundrum, Co. Down. The owner, Maureen, is an elegant, gracious hostess & offers a warm welcome to her guests. Like the hostess, the home is also elegant, and exudes comfort & homeliness throughout. Our room was delightful, a super-comfy bed with gorgeous bed-linen. It had tea/coffee making facilities with delicious home-made biscuits,...

The Carriage House in Dundrum is one of the great bed and breakfasts in Ireland. Passers-by would not suspect that, behind a purple door on the main street rests a haven of tranquillity and one of the most gorgeous private gardens in the country, all ably and gracefully run by Maureen Griffith. Although there are only three bedrooms, the quiet...
