worst experience, the room door was very hard to open, the toilet door doesn't(broken) have a lock, and breakfast at Roof Garden Limited (5 menus), and the floor was dirty with bird droppings if lucky you can have breakfast with crow.

Dear Rajeswary Our sincere apologies on your recent experience at our property. It sounds quite frustrating to encounter difficulties with the room door and not having a lock on the toilet door. We understand how these issues can greatly impact your stay and make you feel uneasy. Regarding the breakfast at Rooftop limited, I apologize for the inconvenience caused by the dirty floor and bird droppings. It is unacceptable for guests to have to deal with such cleanliness issues during a meal. Your concern about having breakfast alongside crows is also understandable and not a pleasant experience. Have you communicated with the hotel management on this? We should be able to make the rectification immediately and less damage to your experience. However, we take note on the above and ensure you we will work on the improvements. Thank you for your honest feedback. In its day the hotel would have been good but unfortunately it’s very dated,our room was large with 2 beds which were comfy and clean but the sheets were too small and were always ruffled.The bathroom was very dated and dirty in places,the shower typical of Asia wets everything because there is no screen and the water goes everywhere.The WiFi was quite poor we got a better reception at the beach bars.We had a safe tea/ coffee making facilities a tv and a fridge,the hanging space was small… the air con was good and kept us cool.The pool area was not good,and I never saw anyone using it.The location is close to the beach and near shops,however the entrance to the hotel is at the end of a run down shopping arcade.The staff were all very nice and very helpful and they made our stay more pleasant,for what we paid per night I’m sure we could have got a better hotel with modern facilities.…

Located right across the street from the beach. The rooms were nice with a pool on the premises. The room door was slightly faulty and wouldn’t lock properly when closed. Like some 3-star hotels in Malaysia, you must pay a RM50 deposit.

Clean and nice rooms, a cooling pool and the most helpful staff. Our stay here was great and I would definitely recommend it! The location is also great and close to both the beach, stores and restaurants.

1 minute walking distance from Cenang Beach. Size of room relatively big and good cleanliness. Bathroom also clean, swimming pool, too. Lots of restaurants & shops, also duty free shops near the hotel. I would stay in the hotel, if I come to Rangkwai again.

Clean and spacious room, washroom was large with efficient waterheater. Bedding very comfortable, dark-out curtains, efficient and quiet aircon. TV worked o.k. but limited choice, wifi was very weak. Pleasant and attentive staff. No restaurant on premises. Breakfast for guests was available across the street and it was insufficient. Better food at lower prices is served by many warungs.

Whilst responding on the areas we did not score well, We have 17 TV channels currently and we are planning to increase if there is a need, We have just upgraded our WIFI recently post your visit, moving forward we assure you we have a better WIFI connectivity. Our associates are our biggest assets and we are glad to hear our team is doing a good job. We have temporarily engage breakfast across the street while our own restaurant is expected to be ready by May 2023. Besides you had a great stay with us I hope these small areas to improve will not deter you from visiting us again. Once again thank you for your feedback.

Cleanliness & size were a top notch : 1. The bathroom (water pressure was superb, toiletries were adequate) 2. The room itself was huge 3. The bed (comfortable enough with extra pillows) 4. Housekeeping everyday without any request (change the towels too) 5. Sound proofing was pretty good. The location was pretty much in the center of Pantai Cenang. Didn't care much for parking as I hired a very nice taxi driver (Nissan Sentra) to take me anywhere. Mr. Asri, a humble man that won't overcharge you. Send me a personal e-mail, and I'll give you his contact number. Both lady receptionists were very nice. Miss Nurul Syifa was so very helpful entertaining the need of making adjustment of my stay & ferry tickets.

Stayed here during the Ironman Langkawi weekend for two nights. The most attractive part is the comparative pricing to the other race hotels like Hotel Pelangi at a small fraction of the costs. That means no-frills and limited amenities. What you get - a sizable room, clean sheets and basic toiletries, access to nearby convenience stores and eateries, a small wading pool. Small TV and air con. Shared ironing board in the corridor. What you don’t get - in-room / hotel dining and facilities eg spa, kids pool, peace (a lot of noise from the corridor and main street), utensils (I asked for a spoon and the counter staff could only offer a stirrer). That said, the counter staff are extremely friendly and responsive. While it’s more akin to a motel, it’s kept clean and secure. The hotel is a street away from the beach and only 10-15 minutes from the airport.…

Visited Langkawi in August 2022 and stayed at Royal Agate Beach Resort. Room was booked with breakfast as complimentary. Stayed at Sea View side at 2nd floor. Daily they have changed the towels, cleaned dustbins, provided in room coffee and tea. .
