Detailed Reviews
The resort is beautiful. Very quiet. Here are my complaints though. 3 pools, with no hot tub! My aches needed a hot tub in the evenings. Pool closed at 10:00 pm. I think it is a little early, but it was not a big deal. Just mentioning it in case you expect one. The real complaints. We paid a 250.00 cleaning fee. But to check out, we had to put towels in wash, start the dishwasher, clean the counters, take out all garbage in kitchen and bathrooms. I do this anyway, but what do we pay a cleaning fee for? It said if left excessively dirty, you will be charged an extra fee. I have issues with this since you pay a high cleaning fee. But, we leave our places clean anyway, I just don't like being told to do it, since we already paid a high cleaners fee. Parking. Ugh!!!! You have no assigned spots. Good luck finding a spot! You either have to park way over on the other side, or circle and pray someone moves. I watched a car run over a motorcycle on the side of the building and she would have driven off if we had not been there to witness it. Thats the problem with parking far away from your condo. But, the place is not bad overall.

The room was not clean. The chairs in the living room area were filthy. The sheets, comforter, and pillows were dirty. Sand was in the sheets. The room barely had towels and face cloths. We had to keep washing them/ no dish soap, dish rag, paper towels, nor trash bags in the room. I’ve stayed in Ariel
dunes several times. This room was not one of the best ones at all. Also, my cousin and her 4 small children were escorted out of the pool due to not bringing our wrist bands to the pools with them. So they had to leave and go get them, which would not have been a problem if the white “ wristbandless” young lady beside them was asked to go get hers as well. They employee’s reasoning was “she got on to her and is going to go get on to her again.” But she was never asked to leave.

You guys I don't care how many good reviews this woman has; pay attention to the bad ones. She claims every other few renters do excessive damage to the "oven" and charges 1/4 of your deposit to have "employees" "deep clean" for 3 hours. First let me share that unlike most host she requires a $250 cash deposit which she will start hounding you for 3 weeks before your trip. Then she will start asking around day 3 of your stay what time you will be checking out because she has "other" guests coming in and has little time to clean. Unwelcoming. There was a misunderstanding with one of my guest and for one evening we did have a couple extra guest show up, which I was handling immediately but quietly to avoid destroying my 15 year old daughters trip with arguing and fighting. They were packing up and the host was letting me know the whole time that she was watching on the ring camera she has which made me extremely uncomfortable but with respect I kindly explained the situation and asked if we would be allowed to stay. She then accused me of being a liar and said she had been watching since the second day I arrived but my issue with that is again, she is admitting to spying on us before there was ever an issue because at that time we still only had 7 total guests. My problem I gave this woman who makes 12k a month renting her property my hard earned money for a relaxing peaceful week and this woman did nothing but harass and evade my privacy. Thats not all! We were barely 7 mins past 10am and she approached one of my children with "are y'all out yet" "its time to get out Ive gotta get started" I introduced myself and asked if she was Donna, still tried to be kind and she told me as far as causing WW3 in front of my kids "that's life". I have a liver disease and dont have many vacations left in my life and this host terrorized me for at least one of them. She took $65 for herself to deep clean on top on $7 for a PayPal fee and refunded about $174 to my Paypal account which I paid a fee to transfer to my bank account.

The view was great. Bathroom was NOT clean. Dishwasher has been broken since August. Cheap micro fiber sheets. Cabinets, refrigerator, floor all sticky. Water filter in frig not good. One butter knife. No cookie sheet. Stove wouldn’t work until breaker was turned on. Fan in master did not work. Had to replace two lightbulbs in master bath ceiling light fixture. Slider glass was filthy. Looked like a really dirty rag was rubbed on the glass.

Stayed in 605 Ariel dunes11 . Didn't spend much time in the condo because we were there for Luke Combs bootlegger bonfire concert but pools and room were just what we were looking for. Came well stocked with all you need for 5 days. Will definitely stay there again for next year's concert!
