We have stayed at the Destin RV Resort three times, most recently this winter from January until early April. The park is well maintained and the sites are spaced such that there is good amount of privacy. The managers, Mary Lou and Dick, do a great job keeping things in order and are very helpful. The park is small and very secure. It is within walking distance of nice restaurants, shopping and a grocery store and the beach is right across the street. This is our favorite RV park and we are already booked for next year.

The hosts were helpful and friendly! One of our favorite RV parks ever! We had so much privacy due to the shrubs and trees at all the slots. The park is super clean and quiet! So convenient to all the amenities in Destin and the area, yet you feel like you are far away from the hustle and bustle! The beach access is perfect! Although I don’t use public pools, my husband commented on how meticulous the pool maintenance man was during his daily pool maintenance and the pool was always super clean. We will definitely be back!

I read a couple bad recent reviews and we were nervous about our decision to stay here for 6 nights. However, when we pulled in, we were greeted with smiles and nothing but the best customer service. Both of the managers helped us to back into our site, answered our questions and gave us all the information of going to the beach, gate codes, etc. The lock to the pool gate was broken and they apologized to us as it would be unlocked all week since they were awaiting a new part. No big deal to us, we could still go right into the pool area. The beach is so close, across the side street and then over Scenic 98. It’s so clean and very quiet at night, we truly enjoyed it. We were in site 7 which is two sites away from the pool. Super easy to back into. While they do only have one shower house, it wasn’t much of an issue. We unfortunately had to use the showers as our water heater stopped working on us but it was super clean, great water pressure. We couldn’t ask for a better experience. We know when we make our way to Destin again, this is the place for us!

Wonderful well maintained park! Mary Lou and Dick were very helpful and do a great job caring for the park. The space lots have shrubs between the spaces so you have a private patio area. This park is right across the street from the beach with a coded gate access to the beach. Walking distance to restaurants and grocery store. We will definitely plan a return trip.

Great place, friendly staff and good location. Adding this one to my top 5. (1) Grassy Key RV , Marathon easy access to all of the keys (2) Pine Crest RV Park, outside of New Orleans great location !-10,I-12, I-55 corridor (3) Destin RV Resort (4) Tropical Palms RV , Orlando, Pricey but very nice (5)All Star RV, Houston, location close to medical district. We also had an opportunity to check out Scream Machine Sunset & Dolphin Watching Cruise. Well worth the trip! The absolute must visit restaurants in Destin are Tommy Bahamas, Hammerheads, and Oceans Bar and Grill. Each of them offer a unique experience.

While this campground is across from the beach, that is one of the only appeals to be honest. Yes it’s clean and pretty BUT impossible to maneuver a camper bc it’s sooooooo tight and tiny. No amenities at all besides small pool and laundry. No playground, no store even! The one trash bin is located outside the park. The owner isn’t the friendliest and keeps herself locked up in her office. You have to knock and she’ll peak her head out and ask what you need. So if you need to grab a quick item from the store you are screwed bc they don’t have one and to me that’s a big deal especially with kids. It’s WAAAAY overpriced and I think the ONLY reason people stay is bc of the beach access which you have to cross a busy street to get to. Overall I would definitely not stay here again. And if you have a bigger RV good luck! I think the owners have a lot of money and don’t like to deal with the public.

this property is in a prime location, and you are charged at a premium for your stay. Upon our arrival, we were shocked to discover one unisex bathroom with a barely functioning toilet, and one of two showers out of order. The washer and dryer caught on fire and hadnt been replaced. When I politely questioned management, she became verbally abusive and told us to leaveknowing the Destin area had no other RV vacNcies

I booked this place. I emailed them back simply asking if over 6 guests were allowed for a few days and if a tent for a few days was also allowed. Their response was to cancel my reservations: this was the email response-
“I apologize but my husband had not seen your email nor had he seen my reply to you And he reversed your reservation. You are cancelled and a cancellation has been confirmed due to your email . This is a final notice. Sorry for the confusion. We do not allow more than 6 including guests &/or visitors per site, no exceptions. Marilou Forsberg”
I will not even try to book with this company again. 🤦🏼♀️

Destin rv beach resort is our new favorite place to stay. We were there for the first time and loved it. Beautifully manicured rv resort, each site is landscaped very nice and gives you some privacy. Mary Lou and Dick do a fantastic job of caring for the park, they are so nice. The beach is just across the street from the rv park and is also close to shopping and restaurants. We can’t wait to go back, it is truly beautiful.

This is a small RV Resort that has everything we desire when staying in our 40’ coach. Beautifully landscaped lots that afford more privacy than expected. Very clean pavers throughout that allow the coach to stay clean. Nothing for kids to do, which makes it feel like an adult community. Beaches, restaurants and shopping very close by. The owners are very welcoming and anxious to help plan your stay. Gates and fences surrounding the park provide an extra layer of security. I highly recommend Destin RV Resort, and plan to visit again.

Depending when you stay, we stayed for 5 weeks in late Dec to late January and our rate was less than $38/day!! Great spot if you don't want to chaos of a big campground
There are more places to choose from in the Miramar Beach area.
