I visited the Haugh Hotel on Fri 19th May 2017, whilst walking along the Speyside Way. I have driven past Cromdale many times and so, knew the area well. I was, however, pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and high standard of the food and drinks. The room was very clean, cosy and welcoming. I will be coming back with my...

Stayed here for 1 night with my 12 year old daughter as part of a Scottish road trip holiday. Arrived to find a pub that looked derelict, no lights on, a corner of a window was smashed and the entrance to the lodgings had some rubble, like there was some building work started but never looked like being finished. First...

Comfy, cosy, clean, welcoming, friendly and definitely a little gem in the area. We booked by chance and were not disappointed. Felt very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely go again.

First appearance was awful, with rubble and unfinished work in the main entrance. Decor requires updating, to say the least. Had problems gaining entry and no one would answer the phone, so we could let them know we were waiting to get in. Eventually someone drove up and let us in. Have to say that the rooms were clean and...

We stayed a night while walking the Speyside Way. It is a very comfortable and clean hotel with a friendly host who makes staying there a pleasant experience. Breakfast was nicely presented and very tasty. We would recommend this hotel.

Good value small hotel in a easy to find location, yes right on the main road but the road is not too busy so no worries about late night traffic. Only 5 minutes from Grantown on Spey which has an abundance of great restaurants and i would recommend The Craig Bar and The Garth as places to eat, but the...

I was met with a welcome and I was shown to a great room. It was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was great. The restaurant, on the other hand, is a different story, and I shall review separately. This is definitely more of a B&B than a hotel.

There were 2 couples staying 2 nights. Although the outward look of the hotel is a little dark, perhaps even dreary, DO NOT be fooled as inside you will get a warm welcome from Sue & excellent food cooked by her husband. The breakfasts were excellent with cereals, yoghurt, a FULL English, toast, coffee/tea and even porridge if you wished....
