6 of us stayed here for three nights and we could not have been looked after any better! Nothing was too much trouble for them. The owners and staff were very friendly. They even got up to make us bacon sandwiches to take on our trip out at 5.30am. We will definitely be returning next year. If you book here...

Visited here just after New Year and spent a lovely evening in the bar and a night in one of the rooms. I have to say I slept in the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in with proper pillows (not those flat sheets of foam you get in most hotels) and super facilities. The proprietors are really friendly...

We visited this hotel a year ago after we learnt on Trip Advisor that the new owners were making great improvements to what was once for us a much liked hotel. This time we stayed for two nights and from the start it was obvious that things are getting better and better. We arrived in the early evening to find...

Just had an overnight stay at the Black Bull and it certainly won't be the last time we stay here. We had a lovely double room overlooking the Market Place, with a large en suite shower room. The bed was really comfy, with crisp white bedding and lovely plump pillows. A very minor downside is that each of the two...

Great location in the town with large well equipped rooms. The bar area was nicely finished with a good selection of beers (and whiskies!) and the breakfast was great with local produce being used, which is always nice to see. The staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Overall, a very nice place to stop if your...
