We have quite a fair amount of experience of B&Bs and pubs over the years, and I can honestly say that Springbank has been the best property we've stayed in. It was evident from the outset from an amusing notice at the front door about pulling on plants to ring the bell, that this was both a quirky and relaxed...

First let me quantify my opening title I've had to stay in many B&B's over the years so feel I have an idea of what I want from a B&B. On a motorcycle touring holiday one of our stopovers was going to be in the Peak District. I chose Springbank based on reviews. To all previous reviewers, thank you. Not...

Susan is the perfect host. She makes an amazing breakfast too! The B&B is lovely and homely. The room we stayed in was lovely, the ensuite was quite small (fine for us though) if its too small for you there is a toilet in the corridoor and a big Victorian bath that you can use instead! There wasn't any parking...

Well appointed bedroom with adequate ensuite facilities, splendid Victorian period bathroom also available to guests. Charming host, excellent breakfast! Very conveniently located for the railway station and the delights of Whaley Bridge.

This is an excellent place to stay. Susan, our host, could not have done more to make our stay perfectly perfect! Huge comfy bed with crisp white linen, and a big bubble bath to ease body and soul. Breakfast was a feast which set us up for a day if cycling. Nothing was too much trouble, and Susan stored our...

My wife and I stayed at Springbank recently and would highly recommend it to anyone staying in or around Whaley Bridge. Our room was clean, the breakfast was great as was Susan. It was the little touches that made it though as we had a glass of sherry for us when we arrived and the milk for our tea was...

Superb service, very friendly, homely while at the same time, luxury accommodation. Excellent breakfast, set me and my friend up for the run ahead. Some lovely friendly pubs in town, would thoroughly recommend a visit.

Stayed here for a week and experienced two rooms - the 'King Size' en-suite room at the front and the single with shared bathroom at the side. Both rooms were spotless, the beds were comfortable and the whole atmosphere was cosy and welcoming. Susan makes you very welcome and is a very good hostess. The breakfast is excellent and the...

Very comfortable room, well looked after by the owner and nice breakfast. Quiet road meant a good night's sleep too. Able to park close by on the road free of charge. Centrally located. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Springbank Guest House after receiving an overnight gift stay as part of a wedding gift. We were made to feel so comfortable and welcome by Sue. We couldn't want for anything! Best breakfast we've had at any hotel (and we're frequent travellers)!
