Starter was lovely and mains were so so. Found a bone in my chicken Cajun pasta so was totally put off. When our meals arrived there was stuff on the plates that wasn't stipulated on the menu, my partner couldn't eat it due to allergies. Manager was very helpful and polite. Unfortunately we won't be dining again though.

Apologies again regarding the bone in your chicken missed by the chef. We do request that any allergies are brought to the attention of staff members on ordering, had your wife informed us she was allergic to mayonnaise and the ingredient of, we could of advised her accordingly, It was of course no problem to re plate her meal once...

Came on Wednesday 18th Jan for overnight stay prior to funeral on the Thursday with my parents. I had a double room and they ended up with a family room, comprising 2 x single and 1 x double. Both had ensuite and sea views. Rooms clean and we'll presented. Ensuite clean and water piping hot. Breakfast included in price and...

Our room faced north overlooking a large roof and a lot of pipes and roofing outlets. Couldnt see the water at all. We came from Canada with our children (first time in Scotland for them) and thought we got a room overlooking the beach that I knew as a child. We didnt figure out the shower knobs till the next...

Thank you for your review, although a little puzzled why it has taken 5 months to bring your points to our attention. As an old building with modern extensions it is unfortunately unavoidable to have roof extensions and air conditioning units on view. We are delighted to confirm that we do offer some sea view rooms with spectacular unobstructed outlooks....

Very disappointed indeed, wish now I had said when they asked how everything was ( felt bad saying anything as the waitresses were so nice ) wish I had now. The food was not the best , starter of Cajun mushrooms ( tasted as though someone had accidentally spilled something into it , so salty was disgusting) haggis Bon bons...

how disappointing to read your strongly critical review . It is difficult to understand that for food to be branded disgusting someone from your party if not you would not feel it nesessary to bring this to the attention of a member of staff as clearly this would not be quality we would like to be offering our guests. We...

I stayed here for one night before heading to the Isle of Arran. I arrived very late and was given a warm welcome! I was informed of a party night so apologised for any noise.. there was no noise when I was in the room! I went to the room and it was spotlessly clean! Bed was comfortable! Spoke to...

We stayed here a few years ago and it OK but we spent a bight here now and ir was very poor. Our room was huge and with really great views but that was the end of the good experience. The room was clean but in need of decorating it was very tired looking.. The taps in the bathroom were...

Visited the restaurant on a whim yesterday and glad we did. The place is tastefully decorated and the views across the beach are amazing. My partner and I sat in the extension area beside the large fire and it was so relaxing and tranquil. We both ate off the set menu and the four dishes we had were superb, especially...

Popped in for lunch with daughter and 10 month old granddaughter. I use a walking stick and the easy access to the restaurant was appreciated. The staff were so helpful and kind, providing a highchair for the wee one without being asked. The food was generous, tasty and very reasonably priced. My daughter and I both had Thai flavoured starters...
