We stayed at this hotel for two nights, the check-in was very quick, it is a very clean hotel, our deluxe rain-forest room was of a good size, room service was excellent, the staff we met were very very friendly and accommodating. A la carte/buffet breakfast, with a good choice, was served in the main restaurant. We appreciated the excellent...

We stayed 3 nights here in a 2 double beds room, which was just sufficient for a family of 2 adults and 2 young kids. Breakfast was good and the staff around are all pleasant and nice. Shuttle to the airport and national park office was very convenient. The atmosphere around the resort was relaxing and peaceful. I love the...

I had my doubts about visiting Gunung Mulu during the planning stages of a two week trip to Borneo but am I glad I did. Mulu and the wonderful Marriott resort were the highlight of the trip! If you go to Borneo, you MUST visit this oasis in the jungle. The park, with the bat caves, the bat exodus, night...

Dream location in the heart of the rainforest. The hotel is set on stilts so even after exceptional overnight rain and the river alongside had burst it's banks we were still dry. Within 3 minutes of the National Park HQ and transport on hand to ferry you there or to the airport 5 mins away. It's comfortable, friendly and a...

We booked two nights with trips and food package. We where given bags with food water and poncho which was great for trip, caves and rainforest breath taking and our guide Laurence was great. We had a couples spa experience which was excellent. Hotel in beautiful setting, rooms great and staff friendly. However we were very disappointed with the food,...

This hotel is for those who want to explore the National Park without compromising on standards of accommodation. Our room was large and well appointed. The accommodation is set out in blocks which radiate out from the reception area along boardwalks and are designed to be in keeping with a rainforest lodge style. The room had a balcony overlooking the...

Well, in Mulu you can find only one real hotel and it's Marriott. I'm not a fan of luxury hotels but this one made my days. The price was fine for such class and I never felt regrets about staying here. Staff - very very hospitable and nice, surroundings - gosh, just amazing riverside views and jungle, room - whoa!...

We were booked into this Marriott as part of a tour so I had not done a lot of homework on it before checking in. Beautiful grounds, spacious rooms, excellent staff. Our hotels in Borneo all had windows between the bathrooms & the bedroom. The Marriott at least had blinds on the windows so you could get some privacy. My...

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. I had the riverside deluxe rooms which were spacious with a generous sized bathroom. There's a coffee maker in each room and the hotel provided coffee pods and bottles of water. The beds were very comfortable and we were always well rested after a day of trekking in the...
