The Landing is a great experience for every traveler craving for that forgotten colonial charm of the Bahamas 60 years ago. The Frangipani room lived up to all expectations, so did the entire hotel and very friendly staff. Pricey, yes, but what is not pricey on Harbour Island? Quality, service, rooms, breakfast, restaurant and location were absolutely top. Highly recommended.

This is s very special place with really pretty rooms with very crisp and clean decor. The feeling is sophisticated and comfortable. The staff is generally very helpful and pleasant. We had an issue with road noise, however, and late night guest arrivals. If you are seeking a quiet place, book elsewhere and visit The Landing for great food in...

We just returned from a quick three day trip to HI (our first and definitley not our last). We loved The Landing! We chose the Buttonwood suite, a gorgeous large room, decorated in India Hicks signature look, with a large bathroom. Hotel has a cool vibe, dinner is spectacular (make a reservation as its one of the island hotspots), and...

This restaurant has plenty of old island charm and is owned by the daughter of a former "Miss Bahamas", whose portrait is on the wall inside the dining room. We were served fresh sour dough bread to start, followed by a stone crab stack with won ton wafers special appetizer. It was heavenly, the crab so fresh. My grouper special...

Stayed at this Hotel in February for 3 nights. East to get to from the ferry dock, as is right on the corner when you exit the water taxi(which is $5 each from the main island). We were greeted in the office by a very friendly lady and given a map of the island and she answered all our questions...

Probably the best place to stay on Harbour Island, The Landing offers are piece of local history, built in the 1800's it has now been transformed into a boutique hotel with classic plantation styling with colonial inspired Caribbean influences. The island has a small issue with water treatment which leaves the showering an interesting experience. But the hotel certainly makes...

Fresh Pina Colada! Seriously best ever... you can taste the fresh pineapple, simply delicious. Recommend going later in the day as it can get pretty warm and toasty. Coconut shrimp were super tasty with the plantain fries, nom nom. Fish and chips were perfectly cooked and oh so good! Friendly staff and great view!

Room was stylish and spotless. Service was warm and friendly and they greeted me by name. Restaurant was delicious and again service was great. Would absolutely recommend this hotel. It's a good value for Harbour Island and the hotel has chairs and umbrellas on the beach. They also provide a roomy and lockable beach bag and fresh beach towels daily....

I was a guest of The Landing from December 4 through 7, 2016. I attending a wedding on the beach side of the Island, but chose this hotel because of its age. It did not disappoint! The rooms are charming and clean, and very beautifully decorated by Harbour Island resident India Hicks. The staff is very nice and helpful. The...

If you want to have a drink in a beautiful bar, with beautiful people and a funny barman, go. And if you want to spend 80 dollars + to dine in the dark, go. price/quality ratio not so good... I know, Harbour Island is a jet set venue, but there is a limit.
