My wife and I stayed in Ellen’s Inn in June of 23’. We had a wonderful time on the island, and at the Inn. Mrs. Turnquest met us at the air port, took us in, and took great care of us.

The rooms were cool and clean, the beds nice, and the kitchen was nice addition. Thank you for a great experience!

I stayed at Ellen's Inn from 10/2 - 10/11/13. It is a nicely made building in perfect condition and kept truly immaculate by the friendly staff. Rooms come in two sizes with slightly different prices (75/90) but all have private bathrooms, TV's, and AC. There is a large, fully equipped kitchen that includes free coffee, fresh fruit, bread, wrapped breakfast pastries, and all the equipment one needs to prepare and serve a meal. There is a dining table and a lounge, or living room, with a giant TV and comfortable furniture. I was happy there. Ms Turnquest, the owner, also rents cars and I felt very fortunate in the one she providid me: a Suzuki Escudo. It was kind of old and faded but in perfect running order. The high carriage and not shiny or perfect interior/exterior were perfect for riding on the rough roads where bushes often rub against the paint. NB: The side roads require slow and careful driving in any car. Ellen's Inn is located halfway between the north and south. This is good because all parts of the island have much to offer and, at least on a first trip, it would be a shame to stay only in the north, as some people do. I highly recommend Ellen's Inn! Ralph

Room Tip: The small rooms are entirely adequate but I would probably go for the larger room next time.

This white bungalow is located on south Long Island, the best way to get there is taking a taxi you can also get a bus. You have graet view from there. Rooms are cosy and full-furnished also comfortable. Guest kitchen is very nice. They provide you great meals. Price for night is pretty nice like for this standard. There is possibility to rent a car in this place.

Personally, I dont like B&B but I must say that Ellens Inn was very nice. Quiet surroundings, clean interior and exterior, Wifi, a common kitchen for the entire complex fully stocked with a full kitchen and litterally 3 minutes from the airport. I cant say I have been to many inn's but this one was nice. Eventhough the front office is not opened all through the night, when I did call, I got an answer from the number left on the front door. In my opinion this is very good service. Last but not least, the owner was a very nice lady. I did not get her name but I definitely will the next time I stay. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Stayed here towards the end of March this year--my second visit. The rooms are four star hotel quality-- immaculate and containing all the necessities including cable, air-conditining, free local phone and lots of fresh fluffy towels. But as this is a B & B there is also a very nice kitchen stocked with delicious breakfast foods; a lovely dining room and comfortable lounge with Internet service. There's also lots of space to wash and dry wet bathing suits and (if you dive) your diving gear. The hotel is coveniently located and the hotel has cars available for rent. The owner, Mrs. Turnquest is the best!! The service crew, efficient. However, try not to oversleep and miss the ladies when they come round to change things. It's hard to get them to return.

I highly recommend staying here. It is centrally located and one can explore by car the entire 80 mile Long Island. Olivia is a wealth of information and can guide you to the best places to see and explore.

This Inn was soo nice and clean. We were orginally suppose to stay at a resort in Long Island but EXPEDIA messed up out plans and screwed us over so we found this place for 2 nights. The staff was very nice and Ellen was very sweet and kind.
We will definately stay there again if we'll go to Long Island again.

We stayed at this B&B for 4 days in February. It is on the main Queen's Highway in Deadman's Cay, a few minutes from the airport. Mrs Turnquest met us at the airport and took us to the inn. The inn is very clean, the rooms are small but comfortable. The lounge is always open with an adjacent kitchen where you can make coffee or cook something. Car rental is available at the inn. The location in the middle of Long Island is convenient for exploring the island. Shops and restaurants (e.g. Max' Conch Bar) are close by.

Live the simple life here. Friendly staff who always have a pleasant word to share each day.

We had a wonderful time in this centrally located inn providing short drives to either northern or southern destinations along Queen’s Hwy. If you’re coming to Deadman’s Cay for a relaxing time, consider this inn as a means to step back into a time where you don’t need to rush. Even the local rooster was friendly! I will definitely return.
