My husband, two teenagers and I all loved Las Alamandas from the moment we arrived. After a very busy few months my family needed to get away and just unwind. Las Alamandas proved to be the perfect spot for reading, sleeping, swimming and just gazing out at the water. The staff could not have been friendlier or more attentive, without...

We have just returned from another trip to Las Alamandas and, again, find it to be praiseworthy. The property has undergone a refreshening and is more beautiful than ever. The staff to guest ratio is so high that it always feels as if you are at your own, private retreat. Alessandro, the chef, continues to create some of the freshest,...

Superb luxury resort with unspoiled beaches, top-notch service, eco-friendly, in an extremely private/exclusive location. This is not a typical big-box chain type of resort. This is a unique 1500 acre estate with four private beaches, two lagoons, and fine amenities to spend a memorable time. Laidback luxury at its best!

We only stayed 1 night as we passed from Careyes down MEX 200 a bit, on our way back to Vallarta. Beautiful beach, wonderful rooms, nice pool, incredible star views. Very exclusive as only about 12 guests were there, but if that is what you want it is great. Private air strip, nice gym, great food and attentive if deliberate...

Tucked far off the road through rugged jungle, this property epitomizes the definition of a secluded retreat. Through jungle that spans miles from the main road to the ocean, one arrives at a gorgeous, meticulously landscaped setting tended by a large team of gardeners. The manicured space around the hotel is heaven, and the rooms set within the garden are...

My wife and I just spent an amazing new years at Las Alamandas. We loved it and the visit exceeded our expectations. We have vacationed at the resort twice before but never for the holidays. This made it extra special. The resort is exquisite and private. The special events the property had were special/incredible and intimate for us and all...

I contacted Alamandas for a group reservation 4 months ahead of our trip. Taking into account that we were booking all rooms in the hotel, Alamandas agreed to a discounted rate and requested that 50% deposit be paid in 6 weeks. Two weeks after extending that offer and after the trip was extensively advertised to our group, the hotel owner...

While their Mexican Cuisine is second to none, the wife and I go more for their outstanding ceviche. The fish and shrimp ceviche is tangy with just the right garnish of onions, peppers and avacados! I realize ceviche is not for everyone, but this is a real treat!

It offers to its guest's luxury, comfort and the highest standards of personalized hospitality in an exquisite setting.Las Alamandas was featured on the cover of Architectural Digest and was chosen by The Robb Report 100 as one of "Earth's Most Exclusive Retreats". Guests can enjoy gourmet Contemporary Mexican Cuisine featuring a fusion of finest Mexican recipes prepared with fresh and organic ingredients, fresh seafood and produce grown on-property. Meals are served at the "Oasis" restaurant, at the main Beach Club "La Palapa "overlooking the Pacific Ocean, in the privacy of your suite or as a gourmet-picnic on one of the four private beaches. Guests can indulge with spa treatments and massages to the sound of the Pacific. They can enjoy horseback riding at sunset, kayaking on the lagoons, take bicycle tours or hike to Look-out Point or simply sunbathe by the pool or take a siesta gently swaying in one of the many hammocks.
