Lovely property with peace and privacy. Views of garden, lawn, mountains and ocean. Wake up early to the sound of birds in this open and airy room. We loved the fresh air and indoor-outdoor feel. The tiny kitchen on the deck was perfect for preparing simple meals. Hosts are friendly and available but give you lots of space. Romantic and...

My wife and I rented a car, and drove here and stayed two nights during our honeymoon. It was an unforgettable experience. Hawaii as you always pictured it. Absolutely beautiful grounds, great views, clean rooms, and delicious fresh fruit. We would return in a heartbeat if we ever get the chance to visit Hawaii again.

We stayed three nights here and it was a lovely quiet oasis. Although it was off the grid, we still had WiFi and all the amenities. A short drive from the Sacred Pools and 10 miles from Hana Town we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Sam and Mercury make you very welcome.

Ala'aina was basically a bedroom, bathroom and deck attached to the main house. That being said, we had complete and total privacy the entire stay. We came and went as we pleased, rarely seeing our host Sam (a wonderful host) or her daughter Mercury (who we only met on our last day). We hiked trails, sought out waterfalls, explored and...

The Ala'aina Ocean Vista B&B lies in a picturesque area surrounded with natural beauty. The property is immaculately landscaped and it offers great views of the Pacific ocean and neighboring Maui. Our room was very nice and offered a truly relaxing environment. Visitors can easily explore Hana and the regional national parks and reserves. We would stay there again!

Amazing place. 10 miles past Hana Town. The road gets narrower, the drive more lush and then you turn at 7 mailboxes and drive up a steepish hill, turn right and you have arrived at an acre of land that is yours for 2 or 3 nights. Perfect for a honeymoon, alot of sleep or romance. The whole place runs...

Let me give you an idea of where my perspective is coming from as I write this. I am born and raised in Honolulu and like many locals, leave the islands to live on the mainland for a chunk of time and move back. So, I can speak from the perspectives of both a local and a mainlander. This B&B...

We arrived at Ala'aina Ocean Vista after a drive along Hana Road from west to east. A unique experience indeed. A treat along the way was to stop @ Maui Vineyard where we purchased Hula Maui. Sitting on the back deck of this lovely place, we were able to see egrets on the lawn, ocean views, listen to peace &...

My wife and I spent our 48th anniversary here in April and it was better then we expected. While we thought the location was somewhat remote and a little off grid, it turned out to be paradise. Enjoying the outside kitchen and looking to the left and right and seeing the Pacific ocean was unbelievable. Due to all the glass,...

It's been 3 months since my husband and I stayed here, and we still catch ourselves daydreaming about it. It was the highlight of our trip to Maui - just an amazing place! We loved the privacy and the natural beauty of the surroundings, and the beautiful and impeccably clean room. With the big windows all around the room, we...
