I first tried all the usual discount web sites for good deals but found the best deal by calling the Rob Roy hotel itself.(Victor and Victoria were very helpful) We went from Fri-Mon (DBB) and included was a dinner dance. We got more than that, there was a very good Scottish entertainer on the Friday, a brilliant band + disco on...

Would recommend the fresh haddock. Top notch. If you like cider you have too try there old mout cider as it's my new favorite drink. Would definitely recommend this gem...

Stopped here one Saturday in August. The restaurant need a refurb. It looked dated and it was empty only one other table in at teatime. No visible staff (they are all working in the bar next door). The staff when they do appear are friendly enough and welcoming but the place had no atmosphere. We both had the haddock and...

Have just arrived home after eating in the Rob Roy in Buchlyvie, used to eat here often a couple of years back, when the food was good & the place was always full at the weekends, although this was a Friday we were the only diners. Our starters were fine, but 3 of the 4 main meals were not good,...

We popped into the Rob Roy Inn for lunch and were very pleasantly surprised. The food was hot and home cooked, good sized portions and very reasonable. Our server was an extremely pleasant and friendly young man and very polite. The chips were hand cut and delicious. I had macaroni and cheese and there was a side order of extra...

As previously stated this place is under new management. We dropped in around 5pm. The main bar sounded busy but we were the only ones in the restaurant. The menu had a good variety from steak to burgers. They also do a take away fish and chips if you don't have time to stay. We both had the soup for...
