This is a great village pub which welcomes locals and strangers alike. It is especially rewarding if you enjoy racing; we visited during Cheltenham week and there were a number of, non-obtrusive, screens to watch the racing. The volume was turned down and so one could enjoy a meal and a chat between races. The bar offers an excellent range...

My wife and I called in on a Friday lunchtime and were greeted by the most friendly staff who could not have been more helpful as I was in a wheelchair. The welcome was matched by the good food and were lucky that it was a fish specialty day. I chose squid followed by a whole sea bream whilst my wife...

A combination of professionalism in staff and excellent cookery despite the restaurant humming to capacity and beyond on the day we visited. All involved deserve congratulations. Reputation thoroughly justified.

The Food that I had at The Queens was amazing, the flavours have remarkable depth. The staff members there greeted me with smiles and I felt very comfortable and welcomed with such a friendly atmosphere. I would thoroughly recommend The Queens to anyone. I know I'll certainly be returning soon.

Welcoming staff. Warm, friendly environment. Great food and an extensive menu. We went on a Friday and there was an additional fish menu. Fresh and high quality food. Loved our meal there and will definitely go back, with the dog!!!! Best pub I've been to in ages.

Visited with my wife and parents for a Sunday roast and fair to say we all enjoyed our meals. The pub is in a stunning location, it was a relaxed atmosphere but very busy and easy to see why. We will definitely visit again.

This place is a whole lot more than just a Hotel! Its a five star character restaurant in its own right . I have travelled the worlds gastronomic highlights for 50 years so how it manages to be listed as "accommodation" is quite bizarre! East Garston is a tiny hamlet 15 miles / 20 mins. north of Hungerford with Reading...

After a wet and windy walk we were booked in to Sunday lunch. The service was thoughtful and attentive, fire was roaring, dogs relaxed by owners feet, and there was a hum of Sunday afternoon relaxed conversation. The kids sat and coloured, and played a quick round of Shut the Box, provided by the bar. The family were able to...
