We visited The Pheasant for lunch and thankfully had booked as it was packed! The food was great, in particular the Monterey Jack burger was amazing! Our 4 year old son ate all of the kids fish and chips which was properly done and not the usual rubbish you get served to kids from a pub menu. We would like...

After being recommended I think we caught The Pheasant on a bad night - After going through the door we headed for the bar where we struggled to get within talking distance to the staff to order our drinks and mention our dinner reservation . The bar was not packed but no body seemed to make the effort to accommodate...

Light and airy, the staff are really friendly and albeit the location is out of the way, it is so worth a visit. The food is cooked to order so be prepared if your on a time limit, however it is well cooked/presented and piping hot/fresh. I've been a couple of times now and not been disappointed, menu is not...

Booked the B&B option when attending a wedding nearby. We didn't meet the owners but staff were friendly (one poor new guy but he was trying his best!). We had a quick lunch before leaving which was perfectly tasty. Rooms were amazing; palatial size mezzanine bathroom was amazing! A couple of bits & bobs needing a touch up (paint in...

Had a pleasant lunch in a business capacity. Food was excellent. Staff were extremely polite. Portions were extremely generous. I want offered a local ale and didn't regret this. To add you have absolutely stunning views just outside this great venue. Thanks you to the staff for a wonderful experience.

First time at the Pheasant since its refurbishment some years back. This is the sort of place I hope will eventually be found in Bletchingdon where we live. A great blend of pub and restaurant. Lively around the bar with sufficient space away from the bar to enjoy a quiet meal with friends and family. The food was nicely presented...

We stayed here overnight and took advantage of their Dinner B & B offer. A lovely pub in a fabulous location overlooking countryside and of course the famous Brill windmill. Pub was buzzing with locals and our room was spacious and very modern. Lovely King bed, large TV and luxury bathroom. We learned while we were there that the Pheasant...

I booked this delightful B&B after watching Four in a Bed back in November. We entered the lively bar mid afternoon and were welcomed by the very hospitable manager Stephen, given our key and details about our room as well as a slip which they asked you to complete by 8.00 pm for the following day's breakfast. The Pheasant does...

We had a wonderful night away at The Pheasant, there really isn't anything negative that we could say. We picked this B&B in Brill as it looked like a lovely little village, good near by attractions and reasonably priced, we wasnt disappointed. We checked into our room, it was nice and big with everything you need for an overnight stay,...

Well, there is almost too much to say about this excellent gastro -pub. You arrive in Brill the narrow road opens out to a rugged terrain and windmill. The Pheasant sits by the windmill overlooking the glorious Oxfordshire countryside, and has a well decorated and comfortable interior. The bar is well stocked with excellent beers and some nice wines at...
