We did not stay at the inn, but had to come here to try out the scones after all the rave reviews fr TA and blogs. What an excellent choicw we made! The small cafe is right at the entrance of the inn and there were no one at all by the time we arrived around 430pm and we thought...

We didn't stay here. But came here because I read a blog someone said the scones are nice. It's true. The scones are really good at a reasonable price. It comes with a pot of tea. Should check out this place for breakfast.

Dropped by for breakfast based on recommendations. Not disappointed by the scones and tea, and it's reasonably priced (RM14 for 2 scones, strawberry jam, cream and cup of tea). Will definitely come here again for my scone fix.

Based on the amenities provided, the Cameronian should be clasified as a hostel, not an Inn. The rooms are very sparse and everything is extra - extra towels, coffee in the lobby, even a new roll of toilet paper. Rooms do not get cleaned automatically every day and many use a shared bathroom. If you are good with all that,...

I wouldn't recommend staying here. In the beginning, until we agreed to book the room, the staff was really friendly with us. From that point on just the opposite. The owner was not friendly at all and really doesn't care if you are satisfied. Worst of all, in the room, all the bed linings and pillows were extremely stinky, because...

Stayed in the dorm which was clean with comfortable bunks and big lockers. Handy location 5 mins walk from town centre and staff were able to book bus tours for me which was v helpful! This is more of a budget guesthouse than a hostel, and definitely doesn't have much of a backpackers vibe, it seems to mostly attract couples,...

Good location, good cheap breakfast options and self service tea/coffee. booked a double room, shared bathroom (#8). Room was basic, only one plug socket that didn't work. No aircon but didnt really need it. Major downfall was the room had a terrible smell, couldnt put my finger on it.. rotting fruit/damp/urine? That said, peaked in other rooms and they seemed...

We paid way too much through a booking agency. 120 MYR per night for a dble room with shared bathroom. It was our own fault. It was Hari Raya and school holidays not only for Europe but Malaysia. We left it too late to book anything else. Everything was booked out. Subsequently our room was inbetween the french backpacker students...

After reading the reviews on here I was surprised at how great Cameronian Inn was! We booked a double room with a shared bathroom and it was absolutely perfect, our room was super clean, spacious and had a really comfortable bed. The shared bathroom was spotless and both showers had amazing pressure, the cleaners were always in the bathrooms cleaning...

Be realistic and this place is actually quite wonderful. Snap this in, not any star rated hotel but a budget inn. Clean, hot water which is actually working, cozy nice peaceful environment, near to shops and places to eat. A room with 1queen and 1single bed, attached toilet and shower, towels and new toilet roll; paid ringgit85. What more can...
