Pros: The room was really spacious with a high ceiling. The towels were so thick and fluffy. Pretty sure it was brand new. We were also given a full set of toiletries for a superior room. I'm super happy about these. I love their swift service from Check-in, breakfast, room service to check-out. Our room has iron so I'm glad I don't have to go out to iron my clothes. The shower is hot hot hot~ Cons: The parking is a bit confusing, actually just park in the basement right at the lift to lobby on the 3rd floor of a shared building. There's also noise from the ground floor mamak at night because our unit was on the 3rd floor. We slept with the windows open, perhaps sleeping with windows closed will be quieter. The bed was firm, the pillow was flat. TV didn't have much channels.

Quite dirty. Upon check in the room, still able to see dirts and hairs on the floor, stains at the curtain. Even worse leftover candy wraps and chocolate stain behind and under the sofa! Not acceptable for 4 stars hotel. Lack of choice of food in buffet breakfast. Orherwise location is good and room is very big able to accommodate many.

STRATEGICALLY LOCATED IN A SMALL MALL IN THE CITH CENTRE IN TANAH RATA, HENCE IT'S VERY CONVENIENT, BECOS THERE'S A BANK, DIY, SNOOKER PARLOUR, EATERIES VERY NEARBY. OVERALL PLEASANT STAY. WE WERE CHARGED 2 ACCESS CARDS FOR RM10/-. HAD TO PAY A DEPOSIT OF RM100 WHEN WE CHECKED IN. THE ROOM WAS CLEAN N HUGE, N WAS WELL EQUIPPED WITH IRONING TABLE, HAIR DRYER, TV, CEILING FAN, TEA, COFFEE, SLIPPERS, BATH N FLOOR TOWELS, TOILETRIES, ETC. THE DOWNSIDES WERE: # PILLOWS TOO SOFT # OUR ROOM WAS ON 3RD FLOOR, FACING THE STREET WHICH WAS VERY NOISY WITH FEW GANGS SHOUTING N THREATENING TO EVEN KILL EACH OTHER IN THE MIDDLE OF THE 1ST NIGHT WE WERE THERE. # NICE SPREAD OF BREAKFAST, BUT SOFT-BOILED EGGS WERE LUKE WARM AND BREAKFAST WAS GETTING COLD (WITHOUT HEATING ELEMENTS TO KEEP FOOD WARM). I am usually very attached with chained type of hotel when it comes to accommodation and are equally quite picky about hotel stay during holiday. Despite there are a lot of bad reviews, I found Avillion Cameron Highland to be the best amongst the rest of the hotel as it is quite new and strategically located in a small mall. I arrived at the hotel almost midnight and were swiftly assisted by the front office to check me in with the room on the same level as the lobby at level 3. There will be collecting a RM100 refundable deposit upon check-in. The room is quite huge for a superior room and the bed is consider comfy for my standard and liking. Only downside is the room is facing the front street which can be quite noisy during the day time. Although most of the hotel including Avillion has no air-cond over Cameron Highland but fans, it isn't too cold nor too hot to get into sleep. The only complaint I have is, their breakfast area is a bit too small to accommodate for all the room guest and the breakfast quality can be further improve as the selection is consider very poor for a 4-star hotel. Parking is also complimentary for hotel in-house guest hence this could be a plus point if you are coming with a group of family.

Very dirty room and no upkeep / maintenance compared to other hotels. The room is very big and spacious for large families but please don't be deceived by the website photos, it's not as clean as you expect. Bad grouting and mould everywhere, no maintained at all.

I stay one night at Avillion Cameron Highland. Everything fine until I call front desk to ask for my iPhone adaptor. After I arrived KL hotel, I found out I forgot my adaptor. I try to call front desk to check for the room I stayed. The front desk told me to wait for their call. I wait more than half an hour no one call back so I decided to call front desk . She said my adaptor not found in the room. And she said housekeeping manger will call me. So after two days still no one call me. I know it’s my fault leave the adaptor in the room. But im so upset with the honesty of housekeeping team.

After 3yrs we booked Avillion again for our recent stay in Cameron Highlands. Sad to say that Avillion is still rigid n unbending in giving extra room card keys. I booked a 2 bedroom premium suite n a deluxe studio room. I requested 4 card keys for the 2 bedroom premium suite n was rejected outright with the excuse that their hotel system cannot issue more than 3 cards. There were no contingency plan to help solve our inconveniences. Their unbending attitudes were a big spoiler to our 2 nights stay in the hotel. After 3 yrs this hotel during our stay we noticed has not improved much too. The premium suite was disappointing. The first sight upon entering the suite was the stain on the sofa. Than there were no hand or face or floor towels. Only bath towels were given. Looks like the hotel expect us to use the bath towel for everything. After a shower the floor is wet n slippery n do the hotel expect us to place the bath towel on the floor so we don't slip? Saving cost n inconvenience us customer isn't right. The breakfast items were limited. The porridge placed in the hot pot were cold. I mentioned it to the service staff n she took my bowl of porridge to microwave it. I'll just say the hotel need to progress n improve n also prioritise to solve customer inconveniences instead of continuing in their rigid n unbending management. The hotel should not make customers succumbed to their limitations.

Called the hotel one day before check-in to inform them about my early arrival and also told them to clean the room since I was coming with 2 young kids. Reached hotel at 12.30pm,but counter staff mentioned room was not ready although I had 2 young kids. Insisted us to go for lunch and come back after 2pm and so we had our lunch at the hotel restaurant. Got the rooms at 2.15pm,went in to only get shocked of the room condition which was atrocious for the money we paid. Please refer to the photos of the dirty room and musky smell which seems like the room was not being used before. We had to use our own Dettol wipes to clean up and we could not take it as the dirty was getting more. Called the duty manager and she had to come and inspect the room before giving us a cleaner room which was cleaner than the initial room given. Am only giving the 2 star because they gave a cleaner room later on after about 2 hours. Location wise good as there was a lot of eateries nearby. Walk around the area yourself to see what food is nearby so that u can save money on cheap foods. I would think twice before booking this hotel again though. Special thanks to Azlinda the duty manager whom assisted us.

Carpark at basement a bit unpleasant and entrance to lift landing floor are wet due to uneven floor. Exterior outlook not very presentable. It is link to a mall. Many shops are closed.
