The hotel is located a walking distance to restaurants, food court, Starbucks, Marrybrown and banks. Below the hotel is a mall but there is only a few shops. The room of the hotel is quite spacious. The hotel also provided iron with ironing board inside the room. The bed is comfortable but the pillows were too soft for my preference.

Big rooms.
Breakfast had enough choices.
Easy stay if you come with family, walking distance to restaurants.
The last day we also walked to the Agro-Technolgy park from here.
Taxi to bus terminal we paid 10 MYR, bit expensive but uphill with trolley, bags and a baby it's still OK...
Mall under the building is quite empty but they have a claundry service shop which is convenient if you happen to be in the stage that all your clothes need to be washed...
Would stay again.

Stayed in the 2-bedroom suite for 2 nights and quite disappointed with
1. Hygiene level in general - the toilets, dusty hall, stained towels and blanket
2. The blind in the smaller room is not light proof and too bright for sleeping (the corridor light is always switched on)
3. Quality of the bed, pillow and toiletries
4. The sofa and sofa pillow cases are scratched

The buffet breakfast is ok and the playground pretty friendly for kids.

Hope the hotel can uplift especially its hygiene level especially during this ‘high alert’ period to give more assurance to the guests. This is our first time and probably the last.

The room was clean but you can basically hear the next room showering, flushing toilet or closing the doors. The only restaurant with slow service, ordered food but it took 20 minutes plus 10 munites then another 15 minutes. Go to Brinchang instead of Tanah Rata if you are coming to Cameron Highlands.

My office pick this hotel for our family day and we regret it the moment we check in. We arrived around 4pm but mind you, the room was still not ready despite it's over the check in time. We book for queen bed but the receptionist got confused what room we booked for and said they only received order from their HQ. The procedure for check in was very difficult.

We ask for towel because the towels provided are not sufficient but only got told that there're no towels left because the hotel was full book. Very bad service. Not only that, we notice that our room didn't got any fans on the living room and master bedroom and the floor was really dirty with stains.

As we will held the dinner at the hotel. We prepared the hall from the evening (yeah, we had to occupy ourselves with work as we didn't got any room to check in too) and we noticed the PA system didn't work. As we report it, they didn't repair it and only give us guarantee that the technician will be on standby during the dinner event if the problem occur again. And guess what, the PA system broke down during the event and the technician is nowhere to be seen! We had to wait for a while before he arrived.

This is ridiculous, in the first place, the hotel should repair the PA system the moment we report it. But no! There was no technician there and we didn't see any manager at all to complain about this issue and it was on public holidays. The manager should be there attending to any problem arises as they got a lot of customers checking in.

The hotel extend our usage for the hall for half an hour due to the technical problem but we had to wrap up early because the staff complaint about us and report it to their officer in HQ and accuse us of damaging their PA system!

We had enough of this as we did nothing and the PA system was already breakdown when we first test it!

The only things that we satisfied were their breakfast that provided variety of choices. Other than that, it is such a disappointment for a hotel that uses Avillion name to give service like this!

Wouldn't recommend it to anyone and for sure wouldn't come here anymore

The hotel offers super views but is near a great range of shops and places to eat. Favorites were the Japanese, genuine tandoori restaurants but the bakeries offered a great chance to pick up yummy packed lunches.
The customer service was fantastic, everyone was really friendly and helpful. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the room very well furnished from iron with ironing board, to kettle and fridge. Rooms are bright and airy the comfortable beds have crisp white cotton bedding.
The breakfast is fabulous, a great range of western, Malay, Chinese cuisine is on offer. Good coffee too! The highlight for me was the abundance of fresh fruit and vegetables all locally grown. Each day there was a different spread.
It has a lovely safe courtyard with well maintained play equipment for children

1. Check in delayed for 3 hours
2. No towels, floor mat and hair dryers are provided
3. Bed sheets are not clean
4. Staffs are not really attentive. We asked for towels and hair dryer severely times since 3pm but things are not delivered until 10pm. Understand that its short of staffs due to peak season but we were disappointed on the quality of service we had

The best part of the hotel that it is centrally located in Tanah Rata, and within walking distance to a number of recommended restaurants and cafes. This was important as traffic around the area can be quite heavy, thus being able to move around without a car, was an. advantage. The room was spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast spread was simple but ok.

The downsides were: internet connection was poor, It was non existent for the duration of our stay. This is a basic need for most travellers, and the hotel should take steps to upgrade connectivity. I also don't understand the need for a RM200 deposit, when there is no mini-bar and quite minimal amenities in the room.

Overall, a clean comfortable hotel, which is well located.

Called the hotel one day before check-in to inform them about my early arrival and also told them to clean the room since I was coming with 2 young kids.
Reached hotel at 12.30pm,but counter staff mentioned room was not ready although I had 2 young kids. Insisted us to go for lunch and come back after 2pm and so we had our lunch at the hotel restaurant. Got the rooms at 2.15pm,went in to only get shocked of the room condition which was atrocious for the money we paid. Please refer to the photos of the dirty room and musky smell which seems like the room was not being used before. We had to use our own Dettol wipes to clean up and we could not take it as the dirty was getting more. Called the duty manager and she had to come and inspect the room before giving us a cleaner room which was cleaner than the initial room given. Am only giving the 2 star because they gave a cleaner room later on after about 2 hours.
Location wise good as there was a lot of eateries nearby. Walk around the area yourself to see what food is nearby so that u can save money on cheap foods.
I would think twice before booking this hotel again though.
Special thanks to Azlinda the duty manager whom assisted us.

After 3yrs we booked Avillion again for our recent stay in Cameron Highlands. Sad to say that Avillion is still rigid n unbending in giving extra room card keys. I booked a 2 bedroom premium suite n a deluxe studio room. I requested 4 card keys for the 2 bedroom premium suite n was rejected outright with the excuse that their hotel system cannot issue more than 3 cards. There were no contingency plan to help solve our inconveniences. Their unbending attitudes were a big spoiler to our 2 nights stay in the hotel. After 3 yrs this hotel during our stay we noticed has not improved much too. The premium suite was disappointing. The first sight upon entering the suite was the stain on the sofa. Than there were no hand or face or floor towels. Only bath towels were given. Looks like the hotel expect us to use the bath towel for everything. After a shower the floor is wet n slippery n do the hotel expect us to place the bath towel on the floor so we don't slip? Saving cost n inconvenience us customer isn't right. The breakfast items were limited. The porridge placed in the hot pot were cold. I mentioned it to the service staff n she took my bowl of porridge to microwave it. I'll just say the hotel need to progress n improve n also prioritise to solve customer inconveniences instead of continuing in their rigid n unbending management. The hotel should not make customers succumbed to their limitations.
