Detailed Reviews
It was located same row with Maybank, above the restaurant and walking distance to Main Street. You can easily find place to get some foods & drinks (e.g. Starbucks). We took a standard room, queen size bed, clean bathroom, towel provided, water dispenser on second floor but no lift. Overall it was satisfying.

Clean and comfortable. Good enough for one night stay. Room have LED tv, towels but with no wardrobe and hangar. Simple breakfast included. But a little bit pricey. You can find a better hotel with that price if u booked earlier.

Good choice of local food & localized western food on menu. Do not miss their flavour bread (Roti canai) with various flavour but try strawberry. The staff are friendly especially the night shift. They have won many foreigners visitors for late supper. Also do not miss their cameron tea.

Nice n clean. It's at the heart off Tanah Rata town. Nice n friendly staff's . Restaurant at ground floor serving Verity off food. Tandoori and their clay pot noodles are super can give 5 🌟 out of 5.
Morning breakfast is nice. Should try their Roti Pisang (banana pancake) and Mango lassi.

We found this hotel on arrival in Tanah Rata in the street recommended for budget accommodation. The street is well located for everything in the town centre. We paid 40 ringgits for a double room with fan. For that price we got;
Relatively big room (double and single bed) with old decor
En suite with shower without wall mount (needed to hold), temperamental toilet, averagely clean
TV had (even by Malaysian standards) no channels (one, fixed depending on what they put on in the office!)
Sure better accommodation could be found...this just about served our purpose.

RESTAURANT ONLY REVIEW.
Okie lah, not bad for a local long hours Malaysia Indian restaurant. Visited at > 1am on a week day and the food prepared looks fresh, variety and plateful. I had fried rice which was just OK. And they aren't cheap ya. (Btw, toilet was clean)

There is like a junkyard or a workshop in the backstreet, and they stopped working around 4am , and then they started at 8:30am again, so sleep is not an option. But otherwise the hotel was nice, hard to find any staff until I figured out they work in the restaurant as well. Good WiFi do

If you are traveling on a budged then i can definitely recommend this place. It's clean, cozy and has a modern standard for the price payed. It is not far from the bus station to George Town(Penang) or KL.
The service personnel is friendly and helpful.

Basic, but very new and clean room. House keeping every day. No creepy crawlies - which is very important to us!
Staff was also always on site and helped us out with excursions and other requests we had. Very friendly!
Right in the middle of Tanah Rata, just steps away from supermarkets and restaurants. Also very close to the bus station.

The room had no outside window, just a window to the hallway which seemed pointless. The room was small, only just had enough room to put the bed. It was clean with just a couple of stray hairs on the sheets. We booked through Expedia and with taxes paid $38 Cad. This was overpriced, not sure if we had been a walk in customer it would have been cheaper. Manager was very pleasant, wi fi worked well in room. Location was good for the centre of town.

Our bathroom had an equipment for warm water in the shower… I'm not sure if you would call this a boiler. The water was warm in the shower.
Nope. The room can only fit a queen size bed alone. There's not enough space to add additional bed. Guess you need to get an extra room for your stay.
