Stayed for 3 nights. Check-in was smooth and my room request for high floor facing away from any construction was honoured. ROOM Room 528 was great. Facing the hills in the direction of Brinchang. Huge and comfortable bed. Everything still new. Aside from the wall plugs they also provide USB plug points, all still working well. Nice long balcony, sadly no chairs provided on the balcony. Very quiet. BREAKFAST Quite a wide spread with some daily variation. No sausages & beef bacon, the company doesn’t support processed foods. But aren’t baked beans and juices, which are available, ultra-processed foods? Anyway, still many other choices. My favourite was the omelette, so creamy! LOCATION Excellent! Right in the Tanah Rata town center but slightly to the side and on a slope. FACILITIES This is the only issue with Zenith. It’s is a fairly big property with a lot of empty spaces. They should have filled it up a bit more. Looks a bit vacant. Should have games room, pool table, outdoor lounge area to enjoy the weather… Every time when we returned to the hotel it was straight up to the room as there was no where for us to hang out. I am also perplexed why they spent money building a swimming pool but not made it heated. It’s a total waste as hardly anyone uses it due to too cold. They should have built hot jacuzzis which would be very popular. Anyway, overall Zenith is a great addition to the range of hotels in Cameron Highlands. I would definitely return if the price is reasonable.…
Hotel is fantastic, new and spacious. Has a good views and value for money. Never take dinner in the hotel. Restaurant was empty and food took 1 hour to come. They served soup with no bread. Steak came with no sauce, and no side dish. When complained, the reponse was that since Sultan was stying there so cook was busy preparing dinner for him. Price not cheap...
Hotel is new and spacious, sometimes you feel space is big but empty due to lack of furnishings or decor. Probably the only hotel in Cameron Highland that has sauna but no associated facilities, not even a proper shower provided. Buffer breakfast is acceptable but due to lack of staff the refills were slow, so much so that even coffee machine was empty and bread also empty. No good spread of food provided. Toiletries provided very limited, provided a miserable shower gels without refills the next day. Bath tub is so small that you cannot fully submerged in it. Wi-Fi though provided free but is so hopeless that you can’t use it most of the time. Really hope the management can make improvements as it’s such a disappointment for a new hotel like this.
It's been a while since we last stayed the night in Cameron Highlands, and we were eager to try out this new and modern hotel. Strategically located in Tanah Rata, just a few minutes drive to Kampung Sedia, Brinchang and Kea Farm. The hotel itself is very grand and modern, the rooms are very spacious and has a scenic view of the surrounding greeneries. Breakfast spread was quite tasty, and if youre still famished, restaurants and cafes are just a short walk downhill. Highly recommended if you're looking for a modern stay in Cameron Highlands.
I booked a signature king garden room by booking.com when arrived, the receptionist told me that the available rooms are on the second floor only and the other floors are fully booked, after checking the room I decided to cancel my reservation. when they heard my intention to cancel they - suddenly - found a room on the 5th floor.
Went on a short vacation with my hubby and decided to stay at Zenith Cameron Highlands. I was impressed by the strategic location of this hotel because it is located up a small hill and center of Tanah Rata's town. You can easily walk to the nearby shops. The Hotel Lobby is big and impressive. Check in was easy and no need to wait for long time although there were queue in front of me. The room assigned to me had a good view. Everything in this hotel is new and clean. The breakfast provided at the Coffee House is tasty and variety of dishes - western and local delicacies. I will recommend my family and friends to stay here if you are going to Cameron Highlands.
Very nice new hotel and a bit of luxury in this small town. It lacks the tudor and old style charm but makes up with comfort and luxury. Nice soft beds, great wifi, nice bathtub and hot shower, lots of plug points and usb charging ports, a safe, big hair dryer and even a weighing scale. Nice clear tv service. Since its on a hill, its pretty quiet altho the view facing the back is not so nice. There is air conditioning. Plenty of car park bays. Its up a small hill in tanah rata's main street where Jasmine Cafe is. I stayed in an old hotel nearby yesterday that did not have even a warm shower in cold rainy weather like this. Blur tv, no fan, bad wifi, old pillows, very noisy road at 5am... it was a nightmare i checked out immediately this morning so this is truly heaven! Plenty of eating places just a short walk down this hill altho walking back up looks a bit steep for older folks.…
We checked in from the 11th - 13th of March 2022 - room 521. Location of the hotel–in Tanah Rata–was really good since it was serene and peaceful compared to the hustle bustle of Brinchang Town. Ample parking space and even the basement was well-lit making it safer for us to come back to the hotel late at night. Service was excellent. All the staffs were helpful, attentive and friendly. From the bellman, front desk, waiters/waitresses, chefs to the housekeepers. Room was spacious, the cleanliness was top notch and the water heater was functioning very well. To our amazement, we were in awe of the wide array of food selection during breakfast e.g. Malay food, Chinese food, Indian food, Western and Japanese food. You will definitely be spoiled with choices and everything was scrumptious. Amongst them were chicken rendang minang, laksa goreng, potato au gratin, apple strudel, bread butter pudding, chawanmushi, chicken varuval and they even had a live noodle stall. We have been to several hotels before but this is one of the best buffet spread we have come across. Note: the breakfast menu changes everyday so make sure you taste every single dish as not to miss any of them. We made a last minute arrangement for a candlelight dinner which is worth mentioning as it made us feel over the moon. Kudos to Chef Nik Norman–who was professional and humble–and his team for arranging such a memorable dinner. We were served a three course meal; mushroom soup with poached egg and garlic bread continued with the main course; I had steak which was delectable–the beef was very tender, juicy and flavourful–whereas my wife had salmon which was well-seasoned and heavenly. All in all, we had a delightful and pleasant stay and would love to come back. -HK-…
Huge hotel, under-used at the moment due to Covid restrictions. Large public spaces, including the restaurant. Good view of the town from bedrooms on one side. Nearby area still has ongoing constructions. Rooms - lots of space, decent size balconies. Bathroom - tub & walk-in shower. However, no grab rails to help get out of low bathtub. It would be good to see grab rails in the toilet area too so that it is more disabled-friendly. Restaurant - quality of food is inconsistent. Dinner was poor, but breakfast was acceptable. For a hotel of this calibre, I would have expected freshly squeezed juices and not bottled ones. Staff - really helpful & friendly. Concierge man was thoughtful. Location of hotel needs more signage from the main road. We will return after Covid restrictions lift as there may be more of a buzz around the place.…
We arrived at the hotel at 3pm,for a short holiday at Zenith, we had our dinner outside and came back to the hotel quite late at the mid night, we parked our car at the valet and there was a charging facility so my husband decided to charged the car. We notice there's no security guards or anyone at the entrance accept for one front office girl at the counter. It was very quiet and empty at that hour for a 5 star hotel. The next day we checkout , we found our EV charger wire handle was broken, that seems like someone was trying to pull the charger wire out. We told the manager of that incident and he took note Abt it and apologize.in the future We hope the hotel to provide the level of protection that is reasonable and adequate for the circumstances. A hotel in an upscale resort need to provide a security professional constantly monitoring the lobby and the live feed from the cameras. We were upset of what had happened. Hotel security is important because it's a security system in place to protect guest belonging and even the hotel grounds.…
