For the price, the hotel provides good value, with essential amenities including car parking. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, always greeting guests with a smile and ready to assist.
The room was spacious, sufficient for a family. The beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. The bathroom was functional and stocked with basic toiletries. The buffet breakfast was decent, featuring a mix of Malay and Western dishes, along with a live egg station.
However, there are areas that could be improved. Upon check-in, we found a large lizard in the room, but the housekeeping team quickly removed it upon notification. The bathroom cleanliness could be better, as there were visible brown stains in the corners, and it showed signs of wear and tear.
The towels could be replaced with newer ones, and the breakfast options could be expanded for more variety. The overall condition of the hotel suggests that a renovation would be beneficial to enhance guest experience.
I inquired about the sightseen locations nearby. The lady on the travel desk tried to sell the excursions and when she knew I have my own car she was reluctant to provide details. Did not enjoy the food. Restaurant service is average. Please be careful with the elevators as the sensors are not working properly. We had to wait for 2-3 minutes near the elevator to open. And suddenly the door closes even though we keep pressing the open button.

1. The room is dirty and dusty. We stayed 2 nights and upon discovering the diets of the first night I gave chance and feedbackt reception to clean it. Reception noted my feedback, but did not clean them. There’s spider webs at the door and cupboard, dust worms everywhere, and u can clearly tell even the tv remote wasn’t wiped. I even have photos as proofs.
2. The wifi is really bad. For iPhone users both of us need to sign in every single time, but wait sometimes I can’t even detect so I couldn’t bother, had to use my own data for internet. Don’t bother with your Google chrome cast because I tried to connect 20+ times and it fails
3. We were really unlucky because in the middle of the night 1.30-2am there was a man that was talking so loud, it affected my sleep. He was laughing away I believe it was either on the garden or the lounge area (which if u book the garden view u could easily hear from the echo and many sliding doors that were not closed). I also feedbacked to reception the next day.
4. The plug points were really limited, there’s only 4 in the whole room and 2 are used. Consider extension or multi plug points if u come
5. The hairdryer stopped working when I’m using it, but somehow it was fine the next day
6. Location was not too bad
7. Staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. But they did not address the problems I raised.
All in all, for the price I paid (close to RM 400) I think I can find other hotels with better location and most importantly fits the description of a hotel, because this place definitely needs to live up to its name. The reason why we chose a hotel over Airbnb was due to the comfort, and basic amenities a hotel should have but I’d say this hotel is an exception because they did get much basic amenities right. Please improve, else travellers ? Humbly suggest u to look elsewhere first, even Airbnb.
Additionally, the accommodation looked nothing like the photos advertised. To make matters worse, we had to request basic amenities such as towels, which should have been readily provided.
There are also significant safety concerns regarding the electrical work. For instance, the ceiling fan control is bizarrely located on top of a cupboard, far at the back, making it inaccessible without standing on a chair. This is highly impractical and potentially hazardous.
Frankly, the state of this property does not meet even the most basic standards. I have stayed in local hostels with better accommodations than this.
I hope you address these issues promptly and take necessary steps to ensure future guests do not face similar experiences.

Despite of having large and spacious rooms and a serene location , cleanliness was the only discouraging factor.
Entering the hotel, towards the room we found a dirty lobby to the lift. No towels or toiletries in the room, while requesting the housekeeping, they answered “we will keep it later” an answer we never expected.
Old British style building which would been impressive if maintained well. The hotel management must consider renovating the interiors as well, importantly keep it tidy. The rooms requires soundproofing, as we could hear the neighbours very clearing and was annoying as unfortunately we had a noisy neighbour.
The bathroom was the most terrible place, which was totally run down and felt like public toilet would have been far better.
The breakfast experience too was disheartening, untidy plates. Not much of choice. I would remember this restaurant for giving me the most terrible omelette of my life. Food taste was below average, and too oily.
The local market and shops nearby at a walkable distance. I liked the location away from the hustle.
Regretted for our choice of hotel which totally ruined our holiday.
If the management of the hotel reads this review, all we wish to say is “Please Wake-up... You have an excellent property , if maintained would bring more guests”

There was a egg frying and half boiled egg section but when approached at 9.35am the hotel staff claimed no more half boiled / soft boiled eggs as they close at 10am!! What the heck? It’s still 25mins to 10am… feels like the staff has no sincere interest towards serving the guests… looks like they are low in morale!
Hotel room and stay was ok. But we took a room for 4pax; but they only gave 2 shower gel.
