This is a guesthouse and for us it was the first time. We had a little apprehension but what a surprise! The room was large, VERY clean, equipped, quiet, .... The staff is super friendly, helpful, smiling. I was amazed because they clearly spend ALL day cleaning from top to bottom! I was surprised by so much cleanliness both inside and in the beautiful gardens. We were able to book excursions through the guesthouse, they picked us up there. There is a small kitchen where everyone can help themselves and prepare tea or coffee! A lounge to spend the evening. The gardens are really beautiful! It's just perfect.
It is also very well located! We had all the restaurants; cafes, .... 5 min walk.
I recommend with and without children!!!

We spent 2 nights in the guest house and can recommend it. It is quietly located in a side street, various restaurants and the main street can be reached in a few minutes on foot. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Everything is clean and the garden is very nicely laid out and invites you to linger.

The guesthouse is right next to the forest which makes a very peaceful setting. We could see the forest from the windows of our room which was beautiful. The beds were soft and had great sheets. The only downside is that it isn’t soundproof within the house so you can hear people opening and closing there doors. Staff were knowledgeable and helpful!

16 of us all retired over 70s seniors booked into this guesthouse for 2 nights for our reunion gathering. Unfortunately one of us haemorrhoid bled slightly while sleeping thus causing slight stains on the bedsheets. In the morning he informed the counter to change the bed sheet . Later in the day he received a bill of 1000 ringgit . (Attached 1)without attaching any photo damaged evidence. Before we checked out, the young owner came in . He claimed that the stain was unremoval but couldn’t show us the evidence. His tone was arrogant, rude and threatening .After a lengthy negotiation we managed to settle with RM 400 cash without getting any receipt before we were allowed us to leave. Given all of us are in our 70s plus we had no choice but to succumb with the demand . The room rate was only about RM 450 for 2 nights for that room . We would never go back again and good luck to all readers . Facilities conditions 2. Water Heater was noisy when turned on. Bathroom shower drain pipe was slight blocked 3. Not suitable or friendly for old or people having leg problem as you need to walk up stairs to 1st & 2nd floor to get to your room. 4. Rooms are not properly insulated as you can hear people talking outside 5. Worse house rule is that Guests are required to remove shoes and leave them outside the entrance at your owned risk. What happen if your can’t find your shoes next day? 6. Wifi connection in the room was unstable 7. If you want a peaceful and happy holidays not recommended to stay here

Great stay for a few nights in Cameron Highlands. It is simple but that is also the price. We had a spacious family room. Bathroom was less and shower was not much with a small jet. Bathroom smelled not quite fresh either. Nice to have a balcony though. No air conditioning but also not needed. It's nice and cool in there at night.
You can't wear shoes in the guesthouse. You should take these off outside. However, we did take our shoes to the room. In addition, there is also no elevator. So we had to lift 3 heavy suitcases to the 2nd floor.
The location is great! Nice and within walking distance of the "shopping street" with all kinds of restaurants and supermarkets. Convenient to buy breakfast before the morning so you can prepare it yourself in the kitchen. You can use the fridge. There is also a toaster.
Through the guesthouse a half day tour where you go past the BOH tea plantation, a strawberry farm and the mossy forest. You will be driven in a jeep and there is also a companion.
Note that it is very humid in the area and clothes almost do not dry. In addition, a cardigan and long pants were not a luxury. Oh yes and don't wear white shoes in the mossy forest;-)

The hotel is just 2 minutes from the town center and the bus station. The staff is very friendly and is helping you whenever you have a question or when you want to book a trip. Our room was quite large and very clean with good wifi connection. In summary, we had a great time here!

Lovely no frills guest house in Tanah Rata. Extremely clean, comfortable and very quiet? Walking distance from Tourist Information Centre and lots of very good restaurants close by. Staff are really friendly and very helpful giving tips on where to visit and places to eat.

The Price was high because of a Holiday, but I still did expect more quality. The room was nice with a window into the green garden. The water in the bathroom was only lukewarm with a little soap, no hair dryer and no room to put your cosmetic case. The place is clean. To enter the house you have to take your shoes off and walk with your socks to the room, unless you have your slippers ready. They provide boxes for your shoes outside. The receptionists are helpful - if you ask. You get coffee and tea all day for free. I love spending time to eat breakfast, so it deffinitly was not my place. Resumée: the place was clean, the garden was beautiful, but I would not stay there for longer.

As they are quick to tell you this is not a hotel. There are a lot of rules regarding noise, making up of the room, what you choose to wear or not wear in the shower (although clothing is optional).
Great location right in town. Clean and quiet rooms. Very peaceful setting.
Basic accommodations. There is no TV but they do have wifi.
Very basic breakfast of toast but certainly fine.
Overall good if you want a quiet place to relax.

We booked a Deluxe Triple Room for 2 nights. The room and toilet are very clean, the mattresses are very comfortable. They have a lovely garden and quiet surrounding. The property is in Tanah Rata and just walking distance to all the shops. The girls at the reception are very friendly and helpful. They do provide complimentary breakfast, although just a simple bread toast with butter & jam and cereals but served with lots of smile. We had a wonderful stay.
