We selected a deluxe garden ground floor room. It was great because once I opened the glass doors, moved the sofa to face the small private garden, its great! Breakfast is nothing much to shout about but its adequate. Checking in experience can be improved greatly. Not the best experience as the person serving me was obviously not properly trained as front desk customer service.. Its just after Covid and short of staff... i understand. The location of the hotel is probably the best asset. All within walking distance and a nice stroll through the park to town etc.

Paid 350 RM for one night. Wanted to stay 3 nights but stayed just one night. Check in procedure was very slow and ppl had to wait in queue. While checking in i was adviced that there are no complimentary water bottles in room but they have a water dispenser in common area which was strange. The lobby chandeliers were never switched on.the lobby and common area was soo dull and dark. 10 pm onwards all the hotel common area lights turned off. Tiny bathtoom. My room was A103 with a poor view of some old house. inside the room we had a door that was a common door between next room and was locked but we can hear everything whats happening in other room Such a nuisance it was. Totally unhappy with the hotel. Never gonna suggest anyone. We cancelled the next 2 days stay and moved to Zenith hotel which is just 200metres away from this hotel and 100 RM cheaper but much better and amazing hotel with all amenities and better environment.

Stayed at the Century Pine at least 8 times in the past 10 years. Finally, after the corona restrictions are lifted, we could stay here again. To be honest, they never excelled in customer service, never smiled or welcomed us back. But this check in was not only the worst, but also an attempted of serious cheating! We wanted our favourite room and we were willing to pay for an upgrade, but they came with an amazing offer. Pay an extra RM886 for 3 nights to stay in the Pine Room. This was on top of the RM771 I already paid. Informing the that it is a mistake, they keep telling us that it is the best they can do. Even cheaper then online. Quickly checked on Agoda too find out that they were wrong. We refused the offer. If we could find cheaper online, they were willing to cancel our exiting booking. I try to explain the reason why I booked trough their own website. To support the hotel instead of agora or booking etc. They did not understand. Finally the manager came out his office and told us that RM 883 was mistake. 45 minutes later we got the room keys, without any apologies. Hotel room are still well maintained despite their age.

The hotel is old, the smell in the room is not nice at all, it looks that they didn’t open the windows since a while. The breakfast buffet is not really good and no choice. Honestly at that price better to take another hotel, or even a guesthouse. The quality is not meeting the European standards.

Room Tip: There is parking and a mosque next to the hotel. Several restaurants and shops at walking distance.

Albeit its age, the hotel is well maintained with its colonial style architecture and design. Parking is outdoor only. Bathrooms could be better, refurbishment with better safety designs is probably a good idea. Breakfast variety is limited. Staff are friendly and helpful

You are welcome to come if you like moldy bathroom and dated plumbing. The hot water is working intermittently. If you a Malaysian you know hotel ah kau right? This place is exactly like that. It really doesn’t match the price at all.

The hotel is excellent. The lobby is next to some open-access game tables, like Foosball, and Pool. Also next to the lobby is the restaurant/café. After a quick check in, a bellhop took our luggage up on a trolley, which was a refreshing experience for once. Our room was massive, and there was a private Wi-Fi router for us. There was also a balcony, a fair-sized television, and a huge bed. There were also 2 couch chairs, and a coffee table. The view from the balcony was quite good. The bathroom had a shower AND a bathtub, in case you wanted to either have a quick shower or a relaxing bath. The whole bathroom was covered in marble. The sink also had 2 knobs, for either hot or cold water. The couches were very comfortable. The bed was also very nice and springy. Lots of abstract decorations hung from the walls. The breakfast was also very good. They had a special counter for eggs, and there were a wide selection of food to choose from. Lots of attractions were also nearby. Overall, 10/10. Excellent.

i'm very statisfied with their service, after check in i decided to move to other room (because the room was very far and too quiet for me) than i call the receptionist to change to other room. the process was very smooth. within 5 minutes i can transfer to another superior room with out any charges. Thanks to receptionist. Their staff was polite, and the food amazing. Surely will come again!
