Really underwhelming and not welcoming staff. We were there as a group for a company event and the staff in the restaurant in particular was incredibly unhelpful. Very inflexible with food and unaccommodating. Several of our group also asked to use the spa which was included in our booking but they were told they couldn’t. The location is beautiful and the property is average but the unwelcome reception from the staff would prevent me from recommending it.

Rooms were ok, but everything is relative to the price one pay in this case way to much. we paid $400 per night and for that sum I have some expectations. For example fresher rooms, the were ordinary but the bathrooms felt really old. There were also a unpleasant smell from time to time there, i guess from the drain? The carpets was also not that nice, that goes for the whole hotel. There were no cleaing during the days we spent there, maybe good for the environment but we ran out of soap, toiletpaper and towels during our stay. Had to chase down the cleaners in order to fix this. The location is nice, by the water and with beautiful views over the ocean. Much activities for the kids and close to Grebbestad. My judgement might sound really bad, it was not, it was ok. But when I pay +400 usd per night I expect more, much more.

Its always a suprise what kind of spa a place is if you havent visited it before. This spa has several saunas, one small pool where you can sit but not swim and a small bubbel bath outside. There is several saunas, hot Stones and a spectacular view. There are almost no sofa beds/ sunchairs but instead sofas and a kind of swing chair. The swing chair however is probably broken cause it wasent comfortable. The area where the warm Stones is, are way to warm! Lower the temperature and get pillows. They should do something about the acoustics from the small pool to the hot stones. They do however have a bigger swimmingpool downstair for the kids and I suspect that it is mainly a family Hotel and the spa area has been built on later. But for a spa it is pretty stiff, not so warm and och comfortable that I thought it would be. It looks lovely at the photos but thats all there is, a great view! The rooms are nothing special. No minibar, coffe/tea, ironboard or safetybox. There is a hairdryer. The restaurant was one of the better places at the hotel. Latitude 58 with great taste but also expensive as well. The breakfast was served in this restaurant as well, so every company received cupons for breakfast time. It worked okey but no good placement for the buffé since everyone had to walk in the middle. Not easy to keep distansen that is. Over all, I think the staff did a great job, they where serviceminded and did their very best to make the customers have a lovely time. I wouldnt say it is their fault that somethings didnt work, that is on the owner. If you do visit this place, I recommend you to walk around the area cause it is very beautiful!

Tanumstrand is a huge property consisting of hotel, areas with cottages and a boat harbor. This review concerns the hotel and the surrounding activities. The grounds offers activities for all ages - i.e. crabfishing competition for the younger ones, a waterpark, helicopter tour and scuba diving center. The rooms, which by no means is cheap, was to our surprise aged, weathered and worn down. Because of this, the cleanliness also suffered and it felt dirty. The windows were dirty which was a shame because the view was the best part of the room. Breakfast buffet has a wide array of choices, and we enjoyed it out on the sundeck with a nice view over the boat harbor.

This is a hotel which are situated in beautiful surroundings on the west coast of Sweeden. In summer this is a holiday paradise. For us it was a very nice frame around two days seminar with possibility to use a nice SPA, pool and meeting facilities which are practical during the working day. The rooms are not luxurious but are spacious and most of them has a balcony. Some even a very nice sea view. Food are on the average, but a nice vine menu! A good place for our task, a seminar for around 40 pax!
