Spent six days in the beautiful surroundings of Valle di Vico and liked it a lot. Whilst it appears very simple, it is clear that a lot of thought & effort has gone into the look and feel of the place - I challenge anyone to spend time here and not relax. The good: - Beautiful setting, surrounded by forest...

Beautiful rural oasis around 1 mile from Lago di Vico. The apartments are well appointed, good towels, comfortable beds, powerful shower. The pool is fantastic with lovely views of the nearby Lake Vico. However the best thing about this place was the evening of local treats which was hosted by the management for all the guests on the Tuesday evening....

We have been here a week and it is with a heavy heart that we shall be leaving. I'm not sure there is anywhere more peaceful and relaxing. The apartment is clean, well equipped and tastefully decorated. The grounds are well maintained with a lovely pool and views across the lake. Martina and her family are fantastic hosts, very helpful...

We have been going to this beauty spot for over 10 years and visit when ever we are in the area - so much so that we even visit to say hello when they are fully booked - which is often - so book early. You are within half a mile from Lago di Vico (a nature reserve) where you...

We stayed for 1 week at La Valle Di Vico in August. Martina, the English speaking owner greeted us after a late arrival due to flight delays with a warm welcome. We stayed in Piccolo Rosso, a 1 bed roomed apartment. It was cosy! It was very clean and had great comfy bed and pillows. This is a working hazelnut...

We spent two weeks here with our family, 2 adults and 2 kids (5 and 7 years). Our apartment was great (poiana), a lot of space in the livingroom, two sleepingrooms with big closets for your clothes and two bathrooms, with an excellent and warm shower. Our private terrace was very big and both in sun and shadow. The kitchen...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
La Valle di Vico is a family-run farm who has been producing hazelnuts ad chestnuts for 4 generations. The hazelnut is the one known as Nocciola Romana that has been awarded the PDO label. The holiday farm was born from 3 old cottages no longer suitable for processing and storage the fruits. Located inside the Natural Reserve Lago di Vico the farm has a strategic position at only 55kms from Roma and 18 kms from Viterbo. It is the ideal starting point for exploring numerous artistic sites in the Tuscia area but it also is a relaxing oasis in the greenery. It consists in comfortable accommodation surrounded by more than 10.00mq of garden equipped with swimming-pool and gazebo with a lovely view of the lake, children play ground, bowl and football pitches. Thanks to the lake, one of the most beautiful of central Italy, you can also practice water sports like kayak and sail but also other out door activities like trekking and biking in the wood! ... more   less
