Check in was quick & efficient, our luggage was taken to our room.
We had a deluxe room by the lower pool. Room was spacious & clean, but lacked storage, just a few hangers & a shelf.
There are tea/coffee making facilities, 2 complimentary bottles of water every day, & a can of coke & 2 sprites on arrival, slippers, bathrobes, iron & ironing board, beach bag that can be used while staying there & can be purchased.
Outside bath was delightful, we got 4 adults in it! Our room was cleaned daily but not till about 3pm
Pool area is lovely, you can sit in the pool bar & have drinks, drinks were a bit expensive but during happy hour (4-6pm) its 2 for 1 on cocktails.
Could do with more sunbeds, & sunbed mattresses were very grubby.
It's quite a steep uphill walk to the restaurant. We only had breakfast. It was ok, nothing to get excited about.
The hotel is within walking distance of beach, shops etc or you can get a tuk tuk for about 150thb.
It was my husband's birthday while we were there & had a lot of family surprise us, the hotel put us all in rooms near each other.
We had rose petals & towels made to look like a birthday cake on our bed. At breakfast they gave my husband a birthday cake & sang happy birthday. Such a nice touch.
We really enjoyed our stay, the hotel is away from the hustle & bustle, the grounds are well kept.
We would definitely stay again.

I stayed at the Deevana Krabi Resort in March. I really loved the hotel. I love the way the rooms are nestled in greenery, surrounded by coconut and bamboo trees. Staff are friendly and always happy.
The pool is nice and a relaxing place to be, but get in quick because there aren't that many sunbeds which is a negative.
I originally booked a standard room but upgraded to a superior one for a good price. The first room I was given was next to a noisy water pump. I asked to change at 11pm and was then put into a room with a loud aircon unit. Frustrated, I went to the reception who immediately sent out an engineer. Mudsun on reception was excellent and really helped me when I was close to tears with frustration. He didn't hesitate to help me and make sure I was ok.
The next day, the engineer arrived again to make sure the noise was completely gone and Jean on reception called to make sure I was happy. The reception staff are excellent.
The breakfast here isn't great so I'm not sure it's worth booking a breakfast deal when a short walk will take you to a plentiful number of great restaurants.
There's a gym available at this hotel which is also good.
The superior room was lovely, however I echo what others were saying about it having little storage. The tea and coffee machine is on the same sink shelf meaning it was cluttered with my toiletries. There are many light switches all over the room too meaning you'll fumble trying to turn them all on or off.
The hotel is about 10 minutes away from the beach but it's fine and the walk back wasn't too onerous. You can stop off for a drink or food or a massage which was nice.
If you're looking for precision and a european experience, you'll be disappointed but that's the point. This place is familial and warm, its not supposed to be a London skyline hotel.
All in all, I loved this place and would return. I felt truly relaxed here and more than that, I felt like I was among friends .

Nice and quiet set back from the main rd of Ao Nang which is loud but only 5min walk. Lovely spacious rooms, coffee machine, iron and board. Slippers and robes provided, 2 free bottles of water per day. Very clean. Stayed for 2 days. Big round bathtub outside but only a little foliage between you and pool so defo need swimming togs unless you’re an exhibitionist! Sunbeds go early so if want to catch them you gotta get up early!
Breakfast buffet very varied - hot Thai dishes, egg station for your eggs to be cooked any way you like plus fruit, yoghurt, 4 different juices, tea/coffee machine and cakes/pastries.
Restaurant is at top of quite a few flights of stairs (have ramps at side) but fairly steep.
Great stay!! Would recommend.

The hotel and its staff were extremely accommodating and nothing was too much bother. We were staying at the hotel, along with other family members to surprise a family member for their birthday. The hotel put us all in rooms near us and helped keep it a surprise! The birthday boy was treated to a complimentary birthday cake and staff sang him happy birthday at breakfast on the first day. The breakfast food was okay, we chose to eat elsewhere most mornings.
The rooms were beautiful (we were in a grand deluxe room) and we were so thrilled that the room matches the pictures online. Having said this, there is very little storage available in the rooms so we lived out of our suitcase for 2 weeks as there wasn’t really anywhere to unpack. The room was well equipped with an iron, ironing board, tea and coffee making facilities, a beach bag and towel that we could use during our stay, robe, slippers, complimentary bottles of water each day and complementary coke and sprite for our first evening. Others in our party were treated to wonderful towel creatures when rooms were cleaned (usually around 3pm), we didn’t have this but enjoyed seeing photos of the others.
There were 9 of us staying at the resort in total and the general feeling is that it was a lovely place to stay. Having said this, my partner and I had cold showers most days. We had the engineers out 5 times throughout the first week to fix the water (sometimes multiple times each day) and the water ran hot for nearly the duration of one of us to have a hot shower, then the other had a cold one. It wasn’t ice cold, so in the end we just dealt with having a cold shower each day. Every time I spoke to management about this they were extremely helpful and sent engineers immediately, but it was a nuisance nonetheless.
One thing that we would have liked is to have somewhere to sit in the evening and have a few drinks. After sunset and when the pools closed, the bars closed too and the lights went down so there were only the lights that lit the pathways. We sat outside on the sun loungers before going out for dinner anyways, but I think having somewhere to relax on an evening would have been a very welcome addition.
One final thing that I think would be a good addition is to provide somewhere to sit either inside or outside the rooms to have your coffee in the morning. There were the tea and coffee making facilities but you had the choice of sitting on your bed to drink it or outside on a sun lounger.
The hotel itself is near everything! We ate out most of the time and everywhere was walking distance (Andaman Seafood Indian - also do Thai and western food - definitely worth a visit!) and the beach was close too.
All in all, the hotel was beautiful, the room was stunning, the service was great, check in and check out was painless, WiFi was good but the food was mediocre, cold showers - only one room out of 4 in our party but is remedied ASAP and the hotel, in my opinion lacked a few things that I would expect but I would stay there again.

We stopped here for 4 nights whilst on our honeymoon, check in was smooth and was given welcome drinks and shown to our room. Once in the room the hotel staff explained and showed us everything we needed to know, which was really good. I did email the hotel to tell them it was our honeymoon before the trip, but they didn’t even acknowledge it when we checked in, there wasn’t anything in the room either. Every other hotel we stayed in on our trip made an effort with us, but not this one.
The room we had was really nice, very spacious and it had a nice bath on the balcony, however there was no privacy on the balcony, especially our balcony, so I’m not sure how your meant to enjoy a bath unless you’re a naturist!
Our room was right at the top of the hotel near the breakfast restaurant. The hotel host at check in (I think he was the manger) said we had a room in a good location, I’m not so sure though, as it was quite a trek 2 or 3 times a day up to your room.
On our 3rd day we came back from a island boat trip, after walking all the way to the top of the hotel to our room we found our key card didn’t work. We was shattered after being out since 6am so we went to the pool bar to ring reception and ask them if they could bring a new key card for us. I spoke to the lady at reception and she said I needed to walk all the way back down to reception and bring the card to her so they could see what’s wrong. I knew what would happen, I would walk down there and they would check it and see it needs re-programming and then I would have to walk back up. Basically when they gave us the card at check in they didn’t programme it properly and that’s why it’s now stopped working. I told her I’m not walking back down, anyone who’s been there knows that it’s quite a walk up and down steep steps. She was insistent I walk down and I even said to her this is poor customer service, they should’ve programmed a new card and got the bellboy to run it up to us and swapped the cards over. Eventually after 5 mins of debating and me asking to speak to the manger she mumbled something and hung up. We waited for about 5 mins and the person who I think was the manager came up and gave us a new card. He then started blabbering on about cards and people not returning them and not to keep them near my phone, all a load of rubbish, he did apologise though.
The breakfast was ok, I don’t think the restaurant is big enough as on 2 of the days people were queuing for tables, I would recommend getting there as early as possible. Overall, this hotel is visually lovely and we were happy with our room despite the location, I think the staff could do more to be more personal with the guests so that you feel you have a point of contact. We felt like we was just a number unlike all the other hotels we stayed in on our trip.

Dear Kmratesplates, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding the Deevana Krabi Resort. While I wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. The rooms are nice and the garden is beautiful, but the pool is only 1,3m deep and the other pool is 1,2m deep, not big and if you want to swim you’d have to be alone in the pool to not swim on others. The bar in the pool serves bad cocktails, almost only ice and not much alcohol,we had to ask for more.
The ac in our first room broke at 3 in the night, we had to switch rooms to a room with just one bed when we booked for 2 seperate beds. The engineer came quickly and the staff was very friendly and helpfull but the next day the ac in our later room started dripping water. We only got 2 tickets for 2 non-alcoholic drinks which was also just ice and 2cl drink inside for getting up and start packing our bags to change room at 3 in the night.
The tv channels were really bad, only news or childrens Channels, I wonder why they have almost half childrenchannels and only 1,3m deep pools when they are an adult hotel.
The only good things about this hotel was the friendly staff and the rooms furnishing.

We stayed here for a week last February and then returned again this year. The hotel is absolutely lovely, very clean and ideally situated a its only a few minutes walk from the main town. You are tucked way at the end of a street so its lovely and quiet, yet you only have to walk 5 minutes to be in the centre of everything.
There hotel has a pool that runs through the middle of the resort a bit like a long river if you like and then the rooms are situated either side. Some of the rooms have pool access which is lovely. we had a pool access room this year. There is are shallow areas for the children and also a kids only pool. the hotel has a gym and creche and a spa so you can have a massage if you want to.
The breakfast was absolutely amazing, fresh eggs made to your liking, bacon, breads, cakes, waffles, pastries, meats, cheese and even curries for those that want them?
The staff are so polite and helpful, they will arrange trip if you want them, we did a boat trip and a trip to the rain forest. All fantastic and a great way to see some of the island.
Just a word of warning, when walking on the beach there were quite a lot of jellyfish washed up on the beach although that didn't seem to bother all the people swimming in the sea?

The Resort seems to be operating jointly with Deevana Plaza at the moment (due to COVID?) so I'll only review the room and pool as I don't know what is actually the Resort in regular times.
The property itself is long and narrow, with rooms on one side of a path (fence/ravine/forest on the other). We saw a basic room on the second floor by the lower pool, and though it was nicely decorated, it was under the eaves so there was little useable space, and it was very dark. We upgrade to a deluxe room, which meant a much longer walk up the path/hill and up steps (ramps are there but they're very steep). The second pool up by the deluxe rooms is quieter and has an infinity edge; also a bar and restaurant but they seemed closed (COVID?). It's a pretty easy walk to the main parts of Ao Nang, past restaurants, etc.
Our deluxe room was beautifully decorated, with polished concrete floors, an open bathroom sink area with wooden counters, pretty decor touches, and a generous bathroom. Lots of amenities such as flashlight, body lotion/shower gel/shampoo in refillable containers, kettle, iron/board, robes, beach bag, etc. The room also had a large round tub in the entry/foyer area which had bubble bath and a shower head, in case you wanted an outdoor soak. Our room, 602 was up stairs and didn't look into any other rooms, so it was quite private.
Breakfast was at the Plaza and was an awesome buffet with a ton of choice, including omelet station, hearty breads, cappuccinos, and lots of vegetarian options.

The Resort is beatiful, service is excellent, rooms are very chic decorated and the food is delicious!
Negative. We needed to have breakfast at 6 am (due to our early birds tour) and in the restaurant was nothing ready, we were very disappointed. Deevana if it is not possible to offer breakfast very early then you muss change the times and inform your guests.
Positive: Deevana offers Yoga Classes for free.
Every day is possible to enjoy 4 hours happy hour in both swimming pools.

Stayed in Deevena Krabi for 19 nights we had a lovely deluxe room with the small Pool just outside the door with Pool bar. Very quiet setting and never crowded. Deevana has around 4 small pools scattered around its complex to accommodate the rooms near to them Our room had a small fridge, safe, provision of a bag with towels for beach and pool which was changed when reauired. There was iron and board two umbrellas (which we did not use) housecoats and slippers. It had an 8foot bed. The bed linen and towels was changed daily, and we had two bottles of water each day. The staff were lovely always friendly and helpful. We had a late flight and room checkout is 12 noon so I asked to keep the room till later which they allowed and did not charge any fee for this. I couldn’t fault the hotel and staff. Ao Nang resort is a busy tourist area the hotel is very near to all the areas. It is quiet but area is a little untidy. I was disappointed with the amount of litter in the resort and the nasty smells in the drains in the resort which is very bad. I would go back to Thailand but not Ao Nang. I would go back to Deevana group they do have other hotels in other areas.

Dear Mrs. Diana,
The Resort is on a small hill, so there are some steps in order to reach it's upper part. However, we will do our best to assign a room on the lower part of the resort. Please don't forget to mention about your knee problem, when making booking.
We are looking forward to welcome you at Deevana Krabi Resort.
Best regards,
Karolina Gadula - Guest Experience Manager
