We stayed 9 nights at the hotel. Due to some misunderstanding, our flight arrived around 4.30 am the day of check-in, but the hotel staffs were so understanding and tried their hardest to accommodate and were able to let us check in early at 11am instead of 3pm. Most of the staffs were friendly and respectful, and the concierge service provided great ideas and arrangements, albeit more expensive than booking outside the hotel. Their breakfast was plentiful with many options to cater to various tastes. The room was modern and not too small, with great mountain view. The location was around 30 minute to the beach by foot, but the hotel provided shuttle services to and back every 3 hours. Even though the hotel was off the main street and required to walk in a relatively dim-lighted area for minute, but Ao Nang area is incredibly safe and after the first night or two, we hadn't need to worry about walking back to the hotel.

It won't be hard finding around the hotel references to the Thai culture, which will immerse you in the right cultural/holiday mood. Staff is great and helpful, expect nothing but the best from them! Room was clean and the shower is divided from the bedroom just by a glass, so that you can enjoy the morning sun while showering; the bed was very comfy as well. CENTRA is positioned on Krabi's main road, not far from Ao Nang beach, very convenient!

The hotel and the room is very clean. They have a process to hang the sign if you don’t need the room to be cleaned, in return they will give you a drink voucher. This is great idea to save our globe, we like it and enjoyed excellent drink at the pool.
The pool is nice and great views, we like it too. It is pretty crowded when we were there but staffs managed to find sun beds for us (they have policy in placed, not to book the sun beds for more than an hour, otherwise they will empty them for other guests).
Staffs are excellent especially by the pool and restaurant, really great service.
We will return and would recommend this hotel.

We stayed at Centra for 2 nights in January whilst travelling through Thailand. The hotel is about 50 metres off the main road which is home to a tonne of restaurants, bars and a small night market. The lobby is inviting, the staff were very friendly and the pool was very clean. The rooms are awesome.. the interior is beautifully designed and the view to the geological formations are super. See my attached picture.
We ate in the restaurant once and although double the price of the restaurants nearby it was delicious. Make sure you try the pizza!
All in all, great value for money!!

The room is really clean and fresh. The colors in the rooms are light, modern decoration in the standard room. Towels and beddings smell really nice. Nothing to complain about the room. Quiet and they have a cleaning system that I like, u can choose to “go green”, it means that u jump the cleaning of the room, instead u get a a voucher of 150baht that u can use on drinks. The staff are nice and friendly! U get very far with a smile 🙏🏻 in Thailand. The only thing is the breakfast, could be more variety, it’s same same, gets boring after a while. The pool is toooo small, if 10 families has 3 kids it gets crowded. Enjoy your stay, me and my husband liked it 🇹🇭💙

Choose this hotel, you will fall in love with the hotel; Thai modern ambient facilities (rooms, restaurant, pool, meeting rooms, fitness) and excellent location on Ao Nang Beach in an affordable price. Easy to go around to the beach by the free shuttle transfer. Walking around to find local Southern food and beverage dine, Tesco Lotus super market in a few minutes. Natural mountain, local homes and sea view are incredible beatiful image like in a drawing artist made in frame from the balcony. Service staffs are helpful when you need an insider local entertainment, we went to Krabi city just 10 minutes driving to The Factory, Moo Krata BBQ, and historic lion lighting columns at Krabi Municiple office.

Many times I stay this property, all the same. Staff are very friendly, good food, relax by the pool with a limestones view and enjoyed the happy drink by one get one free, we love it. Shuttle bus is complimentary daily but one van per round so you need to book in advance to secure the seat. Of course I will come back here again.

Disappointed ... We couldn't eat the food, taste and smell as rotten fish (Caesar salad and bbq hamburger), small portions and was more expensive than at home in Sweden. Poor and slow service. They charges service fee and tip even though I went and ordered my drinks by myself and went back with my glasses and with others because I think there was a lot of glasses and stuff around the pool area. When my son ordered room service, the waitress did not return the change she said she should. The cleaning of the room was good one day of 7. Nice looking hotel but small pool and hard to get a lounger when many chose to stay at home by the pool during the day. Looks beautiful in pictures though.

Dear Carolina b, Thank you for your feedback, following your stay recently. Regret to read your feedback which I have asked managers concerned to investigate. You have ordered Caesar Salad and BBQ Hamburger, the only ingredient contained of fish is Italian Anchovy which they cannot be rotten. We respect your comment and have taken the charge out of your bill. Our company has a very tough process on product control and Health & Safety Policy, I'd like to confirmed on our quality products are being used under a very strict process. When you'll order European dish in Thailand, price will usually higher than your own home cooked as most of ingredients will need to be imported. When you'll order Thai food in your home country, you will find the same scenario. It is depending on product selections and to us, we've imported most products and we have set the price in a very low side when comparing to other hotels in our same level. 2 points with regarding to 'tip'. It is on your own decision whether you'll give any tip to staff or not. It is the bill form providing 'tip' column, you can fill up the amount or you can just leave blank as it is. This does not mean we charge you for a tip. Our team served your son an In-Room Dining, THB 180 cost. When your son handed THB 200 to our staff and said "it's OK", our team has a perception that your son gave THB 20 for tip, so they didn't exchange that. This is perhaps a misunderstanding but we've never trained our staffs to service with this kind of manner, which I will look into this, please accept my sincerest apologies on this matter. Nice hotel for family stay. Good breakfast. Location is slighltly far from Ao Nang Beach however if you manage to walk for 15-20 mins then location won't be any issue. Not far from Main street to Ao nang. Breakfast has got variety & its awsome . Please note that they keep 1000 Bahts in cash as deposit which they refund you after check out. They have shuttles service to Ao nang beach (3-4 times per day)

Centra by Centara was a lovely place to stay in Krabi. The staff was polite and kind especially their manager Penn and their concierge Am. They took such good care of us making us feel welcome and cared for.
We originally got a room with a view of mountains but not the pool. We later switched and I must say the view is much better on that side, so if you can definitely book a room with a pool view. Those pictures of the view are not an exaggeration, it’s that beautiful!
The room itself was clean and tidy with the usual amenities. One of my favorite things was the glass water bottles (I love their commitment to not use plastic) and the large mini fridge. Now we got the room with the twin beds and although it wasn’t huge us was not cramped and at no point did we feel like we were on top of one another.
If you take tours like we did, the staff is kind enough to alert you when your pick up driver arrives. Usually with the tours they’ll tell you to wait in the lobby between x & y for pickup, but we got hungry so we popped into the dining area for a quick bite. The staff called the dining room and let us know our driver had arrived which was very helpful and gave us enough time to grab the caffeine and nourishment we needed for the day trip.
The food itself is delicious everywhere in Thailand, Centra is no different. Their breakfast in particular is delicious with a lot of options including those for vegans, vegetarians or meat eaters. They also have appetizing choices for the kids if you need that kind of thing.
Within walking distance is amazing street food that should not be missed. In addition there is a market and a 7Eleven very close by so you can stock up on anything you might have forgotten or simply something you want.
The pool and gym are open early and the staff are ready to help in any way... seriously! Carrying lounge chairs to accommodate larger groups or rearranging umbrellas. If you want that infinity pool, looking out into nature this is the place to do it.
I would book this trip again in a heartbeat ... you should too!

It is depending on which pier you took. Anyway, 2 piers at Nopparattara National Park and Ao Nammao Pier, both are 10 minutes away. If the pier in Krabi Town will take about 20 minutes.
There are more places to choose from in the Ao Nang area.
