We stayed here for 6 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect! The hotel is located along a strip of bars and restaurants and 5 mins from the beach. The hotel staff were all friendly and very helpful. We were checked into our room straight away even though we arrived an hour earlier than check in. The room was large and we had a large balcony. The room facilities were great,tea,coffee, fridge, safe, hairdryer etc. Towels are available for the pool which you are also allowed to take to the beach. The breakfast was great and had lots of variety, including local thai dishes, cereal,fruit,pastries and they have an egg station too where you can order omelettes, scrambled eggs, fried eggs and boiled eggs. The pool area was lovely and all kept clean. The location is great! There are lots of variety of restaurants within walking distance and would highly recommend visiting the Irish embassy over the road for pie and mash if you are missing comfort food from back home.We booked a few excursions from the lovely lady in the office just outside of the hotel and had no problems! Would highly recommend booking through her. The beach is a 5 minute walk where you can catch long tail boats to railay beach and other local islands.
This hotel was great, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others!

Expensive hotel for what you get. Good location, close to bars, restaurants and shops. Beach is 10min walk. Deluxe double rooms are street facing which makes no sense as they are so noisy. We both had trouble sleeping even though we are heavy sleepers traffic is constant all through the night. Wifi in the hotel is terrible, practically non existent and the pool is in shade most of the day. Rooms are clean and spacious but towels are old and worn. Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast selection ok, not great. I'm sure there are better hotels for same price in this area

This hotel is in a perfect position on the strip down to Ao Nang beach. We stayed in Ava Sea 2 which is located behind main hotel on the road. Our room faced the sea and we watched some great sunsets
The rooms are modern, comfortable and clean. Good AC and towels changed daily.
Breakfast was good. Good egg station and fruit on offer. Coffee out of an urn was ok to drink. Be nicer if there was a coffee machine. Pool isn’t the biggest but didn’t struggle for a bed when we decided to have a dip Pool towels provided. Didn’t have a drink by the pool but beer and cocktails were available and the prices were on par with outside places.
If you want to get about and see some other parts of the area then hiring a scooter is a must. We used Mr.Kord on the strip. The bikes are in good condition at 200baht a day (£5). 3000 baht deposit and photocopy of license is all that’s required. He does do other options too.
Hotel has underground car park.

The hotel has a good location not far from aonang beach, with some nice rooms , however the streetfront rooms are very very loud because of the traffic and lack of noise isolation of the balcony door. The service during breakfast in the restaurant is awful , a lady names HANA was very unfriendly and an unpleasant person , not even greeting us or telling thank you after we told her our room number , she was just walk away without any kindness with a very grumpy face . Horrible attitude , we have never ever experienced such a behave from any person in any other hotels .The gym is a joke, the equipment is not working properly and missing dumbells . The pool is very cold because never get really sun. The Hotel is not spacious enough you have the condominimum feeling and not a hotelfeeling if you are there .

This property is close to Ao nang beach, probably within 8 to 10 minutes walk. Every facility imaginable, be it restaurants, travel agencies, tour operators, money changers, laundry shops etc., are nearby. Very convenient.
We got an upgraded room on arrival, so nice of them. Room was spacious, neat, with balcony, comfy bed and pillows, clean wash area and accessories. Hot water was not available in taps but that was fixed in minutes.
Breakfast had good variety for non-veg preferring guests but we veggies did not have any issues with available veg stuff.
However we had a little problem with hotel travel desk, they overcharged us for a tour which, the very same, was available cheaper by almost 25% just outside the hotel...
Anyway, very good services by hotel staff was much appreciated. Recommended.

We traveled to Thailand on a trip of a lifetime and our last stop was in Krabi. We stayed at Ava Sea Resort. Our room was great, with a beautiful view of the town and ocean. The location was central, near restaurants and shops. The service staff was excellent and was very helpful. The breakfast was a buffet and it was the best breakfast on our entire month long trip. It had a nice pool. We will recommend this hotel to everyone who goes here!

Hi. The location is the most remarkable thing, about 8 minutes’ walk from the beach, on the main road. It means you have everything you need: restaurants, transport, stores, etc. The rooms are big and comfy with a balcony. The receptionists are very helpful and kind. Breakfast is delicious and plenty and the best thing is that it begins at 6 am, which means you can have breakfast and go to the excursions after that. Maybe the price per night is a bit high for what you expect in Thailand, but comfort and good location have their price. After five days I came to the conclusion that I saved a lot in transport and other staff, so it was not so expensive and I would go to the same place if I went to Krabi again, such a lovely place!!!

The stay in this hotel was good but the service was even better. Breakfast could have more variety and I’d also recommend room service. The cleanliness of the room was satisfactory however we did have a problem with the hot water which was ultimately fixed. The highlight during our stay was the front desk employee New, extremely polite, helpful, friendly, approachable. Having her available was a relief, as we knew she went out of her way to help us in everything. Thankyou New and Good Job!

We stayed ata Ava Sea for 3 days. Firstly I expected a very new and beautiful room as per photos however, they're good yet not exactly as per photos. The hotel is in the heart of Ao Nang area of Krabi, it has 7-11 in exactly same complex once you come out of hotel. It has all the good shops, restaurants, Indian hotels, cafes, bank, atm, medical shops, and beach so near to it which is the best part. Moreover, we received really great services at the hotel including great vegetarian breakfast, room service and assistance from front desk. Whatever we asked from the hotel, we received. They never denied anything which was great. For example, we required a print out related to a doc for our return ticket, the receptionist helped in it immediately. The room service including cleaning or repairing was quick. And the thing which impressed us the most above everything was- we randomly asked the receptionist (without any expectation actually) if we can get veg breakfast packed next day at 5.30am as we had to leave to take a flight from Phuket. To our best surprise, they agreed and the breakfast was ready (neatly packed) at 5.30am and was given to us. Thanks Ava Sea for this amazing stay!

I stayed here for a week paid a very reasonable rate for a deluxe room. I arrived after a very long flight and checked in around 7am. I hoped my room would be ready but it wasn’t check in not until 2pm. Fortunately having stayed in Ao Nang before I could occupy myself for a few hours. The seafront is around 400 from the hotel so pretty close.
When I did come back to pick up my keys they had lost the paperwork and kept me waiting for around 10 mins.. eventually I get my key and go to the room. The rooms are a good size and very well appointed. Bathrooms are good size and clean. One thing to note there is a step down into the bathroom and then again into the shower so be careful! Could be a challenge for some and an odd design feature. The A/C is good and effective but a bit loud. The WIFI is ok but a little unreliable as it disappeared on a couple of days.
I had breakfast included in my rage but did not eat, not a reflection on the hotel I just couldn’t get out of bed up in time. I did have lunch by the pool which was good quality and reasonably priced.
The only real negative of this hotel is the pool, it’s tiny and only around a dozen sun loungers. Which is a shame as it’s quite a nice place to sit.
I stayed at the Bluesotel next door which has a much bigger pool but the rooms are not as nice.
The staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful which was good.
I did a few trips whilst here, I recommend the 4 island tour by speedboat and a visit to the Elephant Sanctuary.
All in all a good break in a the welcoming resort of Ao Nang

No idea. But if the dinner is anything like breakfast, you should avoid it.
I'm not Muslim but there are lots of thai Muslim places just up the hill where you can get thai halal food.
I ate in those places. Much better than the hotel. Cheaper too.
There are more places to choose from in the Ao Nang area.
