Krabi Resort is celebrated for its enviable location, perched between picturesque beaches and offering stunning views, a highlight for numerous guests. While the resort's spacious rooms are appreciated, guests have called out issues with cleanliness and the dated condition of the decor. Despite the convenient beach access, opinions on value, amenities, and overall atmosphere are divided, with some travelers feeling the high prices don't match the level of maintenance. Additionally, while service quality is often commendable, there are reports of inconsistent and at times discourteous interactions.

After reading many poor reviews ever since we booked to stay here last may ,us & our friends made the unusual step of contacting the hotel by email prior to our arrival to confirm our room we hoped would be of a good standard for our 14 night stay
The hotel staff had obviously taken on board our blunt email and we were given a beautiful room ( see pics ) with a huge bathroom and balcony and with all the finery to make you feel contented .
Excellent air con , fresh linen daily , piping hot water always , and the room was spacious and fresh .
Pool area spacious plenty of sun beds , nice swim up bar , food available, clean pool , all most excellent !! .
Large Raised Beach sunbathing area , nice and clean but could be noisy from the long boats passing esp if you wanted a snooze .
Hotel grounds are stunning beautifully , maintained by the hard working gardeners lots of water , ponds , streams and koi carp everywhere .
Breakfast dining i personally thought was of excellent standard
A huge variety of food to please everyone , being English I appreciated the scrummy bacon and eggs made to order ,fried , scrambled, omelette , cereals , toast , fruit , and even bread and butter pudding.
Twinnings Tea & a variety of coffee , fruit juice , pretty much all you could want to start the day off .
Reception staff helpful and courteous and the reception area as reception areas go was relaxing ,clean , well maintained with large fans strategically placed to keep you cool
Really can’t fault the krabi resort at all , its perfect position is a massive plus just yards away from the busy main road but very tranquil and quiet once you step foot back in the hotel grounds .
A few tiny minuses, WiFi a little hit and miss in your bedroom but it did work intermediately
As previously mentioned in other reviews some staff seem unfriendly , abrupt and a little miserable I noticed this quite a no of times it’s a shame and unnecessary
Really that’s it ,we had an absolutely wonderful stay and in lush ,tropical , beautifully maintained grounds and a lovely cool well appointed bedroom it was paradise for us !!

Krabi Resort was a great experience. This place has their own private beach, multiple pools, outdoor spa, and more. Booking excursions through their concierge is very convenient as it offers free shuttle to and from each excursion. They are also cheaper to book at the resort than booking on your own outside the resort, big plus! Their complimentary breakfast buffet was very delicious and have a large variety of dishes to choose from. They also offer a couple of themed dinners throughout the week, this you have to pay for. We only did Thai night and it was actually a really pretty sight. You eat right next to/on the beach when the sun is setting and there was a live acoustic singer. The ambience was amazing! Just don't forget to put on bug spray. The room was good, we booked a basic king with a balcony that overlooked the pool, nothing special as we really wanted to spend our money on other experiences in Krabi. But, this resort is surrounded by trees and/or beach so you'll still get a pretty sight. One suggestion is I hope the resort invests in an elevator or ramp that leads to the second floor. We had 4 heavy bags and the bellboy was expected to get them all up to our room. My husband and I didn't like this so we each took the heaviest bags and he helped with the smaller ones. Overall, it was a good experience, people are nice, and I would come back again.

We stayed for 4 nights at Krabi Resort. It's a stones throw to the beach and a short walk to the road where all the restaurants, bars and shops are.
We booked a Grand Pool Room which was located on the first floor reached by a spiral staircase. The room was large and so was the bathroom. The patio area outside was a good size. As this is not an all inclusive hotel it seemed very quiet apart from breakfast time (breakfast was included). There was a very good choice at breakfast.
The pool was very quiet, in fact the whole resort was quiet.
This is well located for catching the longtail boats to Railey West (loved it there). I have to agree with others when they say Ao Nang is not the best beach - we did not swim in the sea here.
The hotel room had all the amenities you could need, however the water from the shower took a long time to warm up and the engineer had to come out and take a look at the air conditioning. It never got that cool.
Everyone was very polite and helpful at this hotel.

We were here for 3 weeks, 6 of us in all.
Something should be done about the sewerage coming onto the beach. DISGUSTING.
The staff were wonderful, especially the entertainment guys, and the singer Gun, and the waiters .
Lou Diane and a tall gentleman on reception were excellent at their jobs, both spoke good English, and were very helpful.
Lou Diane arranged beautiful bouquets of orchids for my twin sister and I from my nephew, thank you Lou! It certainly made our 70 th birthday night even more special, and the wonderful cakes and fruit, we both received free in our rooms ( the bouquets were much cheaper than sending them through a florist from UK )
The cleaning staff do their absolute best in the short time they are allocated to each room, but there should be extra time occasionally to do a thorough clean of the tiles and windows. We were there 3 weeks and they were never done, and I had to complain about my luxury sunken bath not being cleaned....yuck, I hate to bathe in someone’s dirty bath!
As we were there during the corona virus scare we were told extra attention would be made to clean door handles and light switches etc. this did not happen whilst we were there.
I am so, so sorry this was not the holiday I had hoped for with my wonderful family, I had hoped for crystal clear seas, with fish darting around my feet and clean beaches to meander along, luckily the two swimming pools were okay, although not enough sun beds, unless you were early.

This resort is well maintained and beautiful, the rooms are clean and comfortable.
However in terms of service and breakfast offering it does not meet western standards.
Reception staff are abrupt and disorganised. They forgot to ask for our payment card and called at 10pm to ask for it with no apology for the mistake.
WiFi in the room is also very poor, we had to use our personal hotspots the whole time.
Breakfast is 70% Thai and 30% westerner orientated. Mainly serving curries, fried food and plastic sausage. They had a small selection of fruit, bread and pastries for an international customer.

When it comes to booking hotels I’m always scouting for a good breakfast buffet and this completely missed the mark for me.

We stayed with my husband during Christmad/New Year. The room was comfortabnle but lacked maintainance. The bathroom was cover in mould and, even htough we requersted to be cleaned, thery never did it. Hardly anyone in the hotel spoke or understood English. Perhaps the worst was ther seafgood BBQ night where we paid a significant amount to be sertved boiled and reheated prawns, tough and smelly calamary and disgusting fish. The food was so bad at the restaurant we stopped eating there alltogether. The breakfast was good. The staffg did yry to help when we requested something but some of the times they couldn't understand. The pictures in the website do not represent truly this hotel, especially the rooms and the beach. Don't stay near the big pool, really noise with kids constasntly yelling

We were very excited to stay at the Krabi resort as friends we were travelling with had stayed here before who couldn't recommend it enough and the pictures looked amazing.

We arrived at the hotel and the staff initially were helpful and showed us to our room, we had paid for the best room you could get and therefore were not prepared for what was to come. Outside the room the whole building needed a jetwash, it was dirty and looked abandoned (this was a common theme throughout the hotel). Inside the room the walls were thick with mold which caused a terrible smell, the room was dark, dirty and completely un inviting. The room also had no hot water. Along with the room being terrible the whole hotel followed this theme, the pool area was dirty with tiles falling off, the whole place was overgrown with weeds and furniture had been completely neglected and was covered in dirt and bugs.

We complained about the room (bare in mind i am a optimistic person and have never complained about a hotel). The staff were unapologetic and seemed like this was a regular occurrence and so didn't really care anymore. we were shown to a new room which was equally as terrible. It was completely neglected, all fixings in the room were broke, patio furniture moldy and dirty and again the room had no hot water. By this point we needed to go out for dinner so complained again on our way out and was told it would be sorted in the morning.

The next day we went for breakfast optimistic that today would be a better day, we were wrong. The breakfast was completely lacking options and the staff had already started removing breakfast items by 9:30am despite breakfast running until 10am. There was no orange juice left, no coffee, no thai food and barley anything else. 3 out of the 4 of us were not able to have anything so we had to head into the local town and get an alternative breakfast.

After breakfast we headed to reception to see if anything had been sorted which obviously it hadn't and we were told we had to wait. We headed out for our excursion for the day and when we got back we decided enough was enough and we wanted a refund and to move hotel. The woman at reception denied us a refund or even an upgrade and was so rude and un apologetic we were gob smacked. She said that thai people shower in cold water all the time so there was no problem.

By this point we had had enough so left the hotel without a refund as it was spoiling our holiday. We moved to Centara Ao Nang Beach Resort & Spa Krabi which was a cheaper hotel than Krabi resort but had the perfect stay in a hotel levels above the Krabi resort.

In summary this hotel has been completely left to rot and neglected during Covid, this was the most expensive hotel we stayed in during our 3 week trip to Thailand and was by far the worst!

This hotel is nice with two pools, the main one is more for families and children but there is another pool that’s great for lying out and it’s much quieter. The location was the highlight, it couldn’t be better, you’re only minutes away from really nice restaurants and bars! I recommend KoDam which is a fab Thai only 5 mins down the road, also Umbertos for Italian! We booked a “Deluxe Garden View” room but there was nothing deluxe about it, the room was really old fashioned and it was in a building near the main road... we could see other nicer places to stay in the resort but this room isn’t it. It looked nothing like the pictures on the website when we booked. The bed in the room was really comfortable though and the cleaning service was good, however they did come at very random times of the day. The hotel will not provide an iron, so if you’re staying there keep this In mind. The breakfast was nice but a crazy amount of flies everywhere so hard to eat it without bug spray! The hotel has pros a as cons, all in I would stay again ( especially for the pool and location).

Krabi resort was the last place my partner and I stayed during our 3 week trip to thailand; considering this we wanted to stay somewhere that felt a little luxurious, so were happy to pay more money than we had been in other places and after looking at the website of the hotel we were very excited to stay here.
Unfortunately this was not the case for our stay, we were highly disappointed from the minute we got into our room. The rooms are looking very tired with scratches all over the floors and signs of usage throughout. The cleanliness of the room was not to a good standard and we were without hot water for 3 nights. We complained multiple times about the hot water and were told repeatedly it was going to be fixed but it took 3 nights for this to happen- for the money we paid the least I expect is a hot shower. It's good to note that the hotel does not provide an iron, however there is a service that you can pay for where the staff will do it for you.The decoration of the resort does not feel luxurious at all and does not reflect the photos on the website. Although Krabi is a lovely place to stay the photos of the beach on the website is not the reality.
The location of this hotel was good but that is the only thing I would recommend it for, we had high expectations and unfortunately left disappointed.

We booked 2 rooms in Krabi resort last week and were travelling with family, my mom and daughter.
Location of resort is nice and that’s what is tempting for most of us including me as I didn’t want my mother to walk long way to beach.
Rooms are old and and dilapidated now with not much focus on maintenance. To take shower you need to step into a bath tub which is very dangerous for people as chances of slipping and getting hurt are very high.
Wifi is very very patchy across the resort
The phone wasn’t working in one of the rooms and other room there was no extension list pasted on the phone.

Now coming to service. One of the worst service experiences we had here. Housekeeping didn’t give water bottles in room for 2-3 hours despite repeated calls.
Breakfast buffet is till 10am but by 945am dishes were over and Reynold the restaurant incharges refused to refill saying buffet is getting over and we should manage with whatever is available.
Staff is very rude, I don’t know if this issue is faced only by Indians.

We could have overlooked poor room or issues if reception or restaurant staff was nicer but unfortunately they don’t know a thing about hospitality, which is a sham
