The lady at reception was lovely on arrival, she checked us in efficiently and offered to help us with our luggage before showing us to our room. Unfortunately this 'resort' is in dire need of attention. The frustrating part is that most of the problems are very easily solved! As you can see from my pictures, the curtains are circa 1970, the bathroom mirror is a disgrace, the taps and shower valves are rusted to oblivion, the tiles are filthy and there are marks all over the walls, stains on bedsheets and an inch gap at the bottom of the external door allowing lizards and roaches free roam. If a child cut themselves on one of these taps or valves they would be at serious risk of infection. I can't say that this is the case in every room but I'd hazard a guess that it is. The gardens are very nice and well kept, and even though we didn't go in the pool it looked clean and has a nice sun-lounging area. All in all not a nice stay and we won't be back, this is one of Krabi 's cheaper hotels and it shows. Lesson learnt!

The hotel is located 10 minutes walk from night market - great food and live music every day. The Bungalows are big and clean, as well as bathroom. The pool is very nice but not too deep - good for children. Personel is very helpful.

This place is not at all what you see in the photos in booking or anywhere else. Calling it a resort is really far fetched, it is more like a rundown motel. We were a group of nine people, stayed for one night and left. The hotel is next to the boxing stadium so you might hear the noise from that during the day.

The best thing about the place was the pool which was great. The rooms were big but pretty plain and the beds were rock hard. It's definitely more a home stay than a resort so adjust your expectations accordingly. The gardens were nice, the people friendly and the breakfasts were limited.

A fine bungalow, with a comfy bed, nice WC. Staff very attentive and helpful. Beautiful balcony, where you can relax or read... All surrounded by a very peaceful and cared for garden, with a nice pool.

Really friendly and smiling staff, nice stay, calm at low season, with cute pool, not far from the beach and restaurants (a little more from ao nang Beach where the activity really is) Only negative point, we can hear the mosque from the room..

Been to this restaurant several times before and a gain visited 3 times out of 4 this trip. Good selection of fresh seafood, oysters, fish lobster crab etc, along with all your usual Thai dishes. Well worth a visit as considerably cheaper than some comparable places along the Ao Nang side.

The food was cold (chicken) and half an hour later i had so much pain in the stomach. Two days in the bath. I don't recommend it. Not for humans. I can say that it's the worst restaurant of all my month trip in thailand.

The location is a 7 mins walk to Noppharat beach. When we visited, the road was pretty quiet and lonely. During most of the day and evening it was perfect, but was a bit scared at night. I guess it was lonely because of the heavy rains. This may actually be a good thing considering that you dont pay for holidays to be in crowded places. As pointed out by someone in this thread already, Noppharat is not really what you call a beach and gets covered during high tide. The number of shops and hotels next to the beach are a few. The hotel offers bikes on rental and we found this quite useful. We used this bike to get around the island. The lady on the reception did not even check the bike after we returned it and promptly returned all our documents. She helped us coordinate with our tours and our pick up. Would like to point out that the staff was soft spoken. The hotel itself was nice, quiet clean rooms, although a bit small. One thing i would like to highlight, although the photos look really really great, the place (including the swimming pool) is not what i expected to be. This is usually the case with many places, but seems a bit magnified with this place. The rooms would be cleaned daily and we had no issues with the service. Also, the staff seemed soft spoken. The breakfast was good but with limited options in the plan. But since it was made to order, it was quite good. Loved the fruits in yogurt. If you know to ride, i would say Noppharat and its surroundings are the best place to stay. If not, better stay near Ao Nang beach. The resort is great for basic stay (which we wanted), but do not expect any luxuries. I would definitely stay here if i visit again because my wife knows to ride and we dont really spend much time in our rooms when we go out.

The pictures of the hotel are a bit unrealistic, but the resort itself was just okay. To call it a resort is a stretch. The pool is very clean and quite nice, the gardens surrounding lovely, but the restaurant is open only for breakfast and is not included in the price. The rooms are large, the beds comfortable and there is hot water. The staff is nice and tries hard but it is rough around the edges. You can walk to the beach (which is really not swim-able) and find good fish restaurants, but the town is really that one street. We were there for 2 days but chose to leave to go to AoNang beach (about 10 minutes by tuktuk) away in order to have some fun things to do along with a nice beach. We had arranged with the hotel to pick us up at the airport and was confirmed, but the driver never showed up and we had to hire a cab (who got lost) to take us to the resort. Not the best start.
