We were looking forward to staying at this resort after reading the reviews.The staff were friendly and always helpful, the room was quiet and had a view over the pool which was nice but the downside was the cleanliness of the hotel and the breakfast in the restaurant. The only thing we felt comfortable eating was the yoghurt, fruit and the omelette that was made while you wait.The Bain Marie's that are suppose to keep the food hot were definitely not performing well.Most morning we could not eat the other food on offer due to it not being heated to a safe level. It was just warm. The Nan bread was so hard and dry that even the Indian guests were putting it back. The cleanliness of the hotel left a lot to be desired.Whilst sitting on the deck just outside the actual restaurant where we had breakfast each morning, I wiped down the counter next to us and the cloth was black with dirt, also the wooden deck looked like it had not been properly cleaned in a long time. The lift doors and around the buttons inside the lift were always covered in smeared finger marks and did not seem to be cleaned in the whole 6 days of our stay.Hardly appropriate when covid id still prevalent. The metal drain plug in our bathroom sink was not able to be pushed closed.After managing to remove the plug it became evident that it was being held open with a bottle cap because it was broken.This was obviously a quick fix that had been there for quite some time going on the amount of rust on the bottle cap. When the water was released from the bathroom sink it would spew black muck from the shower drain on to the shower floor. Then one morning the toilet roll holder fell of the wall and on to the floor. There were 2 occasions were we returned to our room late in the afternoon and the room had not been made up and we had to call housekeeping to deliver some water. Also instead of tissues being replaced in the bathroom a toilet roll was placed on top of the empty tissue box. The next week we stayed at a hotel in Phuket and the experience was amazing.Hot food in the morning, spotlessly clean, amazing staff.We wish we had spent the whole time at this hotel instead. …

Past several year this is one of the best experience I have with holiday inn resort in krabi ao naang beach.When I say best means front desk dao she has more knowledge/best guidance/best service.you don’t need guide if you go to this hotel.also her partner Fai she very cooperative.we did plan for island next day so she make our breakfast prepared without tell her because she know we go early.I will recommend everyone my friend stay this hotel in krabi

The property exceeded our expectations! Looked new or recently refurbished. We booked an ocean facing suite. Very spacious room, with separate living & bedrooms. Added the Breakfast buffet which was inexpensive and definitely worth the cost. Great happy hour and good food! Location is an easy walk to Ao Nang beach and lots of shops & restaurants within walking distance. And I can’t say enough about the staff!! Very friendly and helpful, especially when my husband got sick. We will definitely return!

We actually booked the Dusit D2 only to find it had been acquired by Holiday Inn. Upon arrival there was some confusion as to the room we booked. At first we were told there wasn't a sea view room available, which is what we'd booked and paid for. They said they would upgrade us to a larger room but no sea view. I wasn't happy as it wasn't what we wanted, and after a bit of a discussion, they found a room with a sea view, which was lovely. We like the pool area and location, very easy walk to shops and restaurants. Breakfast was good, had everything you would expect. Only complaint was rooms were not made up until quite late in the afternoon, which if you wanted to have a siesta, wasn't good. Staff were all extremely helpful. Can recommend.

The hotel staff was wonderful, location - the best, facilities better than most Holiday Inn hotels I have stayed in the past, large room with quick access to the swimming pool, abundant breakfast with many options for vegetarians, in the evenings they run a live show in the front of the hotel, the singer were very good and familiar with most of the songs I asked them to sing

Firstly, the location of this resort is situated in a prime location in Ao Nang. Guests can easily access the beach, shops, restaurants and other attractions from the resort. For families traveling with children, this resort is a great choice as it is very kid-friendly. There are plenty of activities to keep children entertained at kids club, kids swimming pool, and a playground. Another standout feature of this resort is its Rakhang Thai Bistro and Bar. The food is of high quality, and there are plenty of options to suit all tastes. And night time with live band to entertain. And can't miss happy hour during performance showing. Lastly, it is worth mentioning that this resort is part of the IHG hotel group and as such, IHG One Members are recognized and rewarded. This is a great perk as Diamond that can choose for free breakfast ^_^ and room was upgrade to premium room. The hotel is in a good position to access restaurants and bars as well as the beach, where you can take a long tail boat to the various islands and beaches. Which are amazing. The room with balcony and garden view was a good size and well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. However house keeping was pretty poor and on one occasion the room wasn’t cleaned until 7pm and it was often late afternoon before house keeping appeared, which can affect your plans to get ready to go out. The pool area is very nice but many (30%) of sun beds are broken and uncomfortable. If the 3 hotels we stayed in during our time in Thailand the staff were the least engaging and not particularly helpful. Breakfast was ok with no one taking responsibility for re-stocking items. It’s advertised as a family hotel so as a couple probably not a great choice as there are likely to be large groups and families by the pool and breakfast can be a free for all.…

Just back from 12 nights here and it was amazing. The staff are wonderful, food is excellent, great choices at breakfast and the best coffee. Happy hour at the pool was superb value and staff remembed our drink choices! Long boat from the beach to Railay a great day trip. Lots bars and restaurants nearby and walking/tuk tuk distance to Ao Nang-15 minute walk past loads shops, bars and restaurants. Thank you for our stay, will be back!
