Well it’s $42 nZ a night so it’s dirt cheap.the location is fantastic in the jungle below the cliffs.It has a fantastic pool area with monkeys frolicking in the surrounding trees. We stayed 4 days and the monkeys were seen every day …….. but the rooms are the worst part. Tired, dated, and a little dirty.( But it’s $42!!) it’s walking distance to shops and restaurants but a 30 min walk to beach so best to use thier shuttle or hire a scooter. Minimal English is spoken by staff and you will be woken by multiple roosters at 5.30am….. and a peacock if he’s feeling vocal.

the cliff view resort is half a zoo, half a resort. you will be neighbors with roosters, peacocks, monkeys, exotic birds, cats... the vegetation is luxuriant and magnificent. you have a front row seat to admire the cliffs of ao nang, especially while you are swimming in the lovely swimming pool. The staff is very nice, especially Ying who was very available , attentive and helpfull. The comfort of the rooms is simple but effective, however there is a very good wifi connection throughout the resort. If you looking for a nature experience instead of news bigs buildings I can only recommend this place.

We come many years to aonang cliff view. I must tell the restaurant is much beter then before. Yaya serve you very friendly. Also the breakfast is much better now .👍 the WiFi is not working on the room , but there working on it.
The only thing that can improved better is the wooden Floor around the pool. This is in very bad chape. It needs construction. The staff is wonderfull. See you next year

I really liked this hotel. The grounds are amazing. It feels like you’re in the rainforest, all the bungalows being along the snaking paths around the large resort.
I had no problems with any animals.. I saw monkeys twice from my balcony, and occasionally a tiny gecko would get into the room, but it would vanish the moment it saw me.
The breakfast is good. It is a 3* hotel, so I wasn’t expecting amazing food, but I was happy.
The main road is a 10 minute walk, and the beach is about 25 mins, but the regular hourly shuttle is easy and fun, so it’s no problem getting around.
There’s only WiFi in the lobby and restaurant, so not in the rooms, but I was quite happy with that as I am sure I spent a lot less time on my phone.. it is a holiday after all !!

It was a very disappointing visit. The room was delivered late so we had to wait a long time to enter our room. The towels were delivered every day at 6pm so if you wanted to have a shower you had to wait a long time for a towel. The staff doesn’t speak English very well so when having a problem they said “10 minutes”. The installations (bathroom and room) need more maintenance.

My husband and I ended our Thailand trip in Ao Nang. The staff at the resort went above and beyond with anything we needed help with. We rented our motorbike from them and had a great time. Even got to experience the sweet little longer monkeys playing in the trees right outside of our villa. I would definitely stay here again. Great, quiet little place close enough to the action if you rent a bike.

A horrible experience. The sheets were dirty and smelled musty and musty. The bed was horrible, you could feel all the springs and it was very soft. One week in the jungle. It was very nice to stay there. Very quiet with a lot of jungle sounds all the time. You don’t here any car or boat (like on the most other hotels near the beach). I saw even a monkey family :)

I was dreaming of living in jungles and here I experienced it! Waking up to amazing jungle sounds and seeing all these palm trees and other unfamiliar green plants, mountains and even monkeys...🐧🙊🌿 The greenest place I’ve ever stayed is Ao Nang Cliff View Resort 🙌🏻 Although I didn’t like Krabi (Phuket and Phi Phi was better), the resort was fantastic! I would have stayed in the hotel all the time if there was a place where is sun (because of the location in the jungles, there was shadow all the time). The nature in the hotel is very beautiful! And the breakfast was nice!

I was there in November 2019. It is not a glamorous place but I loved it. I booked it though Agoda. Make sure you get a room with Air Conditioning. As I said not fancy but perfect location to the beach, amazing views of the cliffs. The bed was so comfy (which in Thailand is a treat)
