The place seemed remote on my map but actually it wasn't. You can walk about 15 minutes to get to the beach and they also take you there by tuk-tuk free of charge. The staff was very friendly and helpful in telling us where to go and what to see and how much it should cost to get from one...

We stayed here for one night and it was comfy enough beds but obviously as it was next to a lake there was a lot more mozzy's, and cockroaches we even had to chase a couple of frogs around our bathroom! Deffo not the cleanest iv stayed in in Thailand and the location is OKAY but staff were friendly enough

Arrived here late afternoon, booking while arriving by taxi! All a bit stressful! The Hotel has recently been taken over by new management! I couldn't have revived a warmer welcome from the staff, and the tiresome long journey down from Chiang Mai melted away with in 10mins. The bungalows are basic but lovely, comfortable clean bedding. I relaxing environment! Highly...

Like most of the reviews on here, I was conned into staying here by the Thailand Information people. I read the reviews before I got here and panicked, but determined to make the best of it. Location wise it was decent, only a ten minute walk to the beach, usually the tuk tuk will take you for 20 if you...

We opted for the bamboo bungalow with the fan. At night there were a lot of mosquitoes, we also saw few small lizards inside the bungalow and we found a frog but the owner Chang was very helpful and funny. We had a problem with the hot water and he fixed it instantly.

There are a few bungalows, some are older than others. We stayed there for rwo nitghts. The beds are old and not comfortable, the bathroom is old and stinky. We paid 1100 Baht a night, for that price you can find better place to stay, I think. *The pool is big and pretty good. Also it is 15-20 minutes walk...

The room was clean, the staff quirky and the pool lovely. Maybe over priced but certainly the place was no way near as bad as the many reviews I read. Actually I rather enjoyed my stay and if you want food head up towards the mosque and eat at the restaurants there. Great food, friendly people and not inflated prices.

I truly do not know where to begin. We were totally mis-sold this hotel by a tourist office in Bangkok (more about them later). We were told that this was a lovely hotel and that strings had to be pulled to get us in especially over the new year. We were shown the hotel brochure and it all looked charming....

Young married couple staying in room B4 for 2 nights. Lots of Mosquitos, geckos, bats, frogs and cats. But then you're right by a lake so these things are expected. Not a bad location. 5 minute walk to the beach. 60baht in a tuk tuk into the town. Fab pool. Very clean. Breakfast also good. Rooms could do with a...
