We having been hopping about Thailand and after Bangkok needed somewhere non-touristy. A fab little rural resort. The wooden huts were great, the air con which was very much needed was provided and worked fabulously! A large wet room with more than enough space and finished to a good standard which was very much welcomed. The staff were very accommodating and...

The Baan Suan resort is located just outside the center of Ao Nang, very easy to travel into and with a free shuttle running at regular times throughout the day. A lovely spot far away enough from the hustle and bustle of the high street. Ao Nang also not being too far from Krabi makes it an ideal spot to...

Nice place to stay, a bit far from town, need to take a taxi, but the hotel provides you with a free taxi basically every hour down to town, and pick you up again at 17:30 for free. After this you have to pay for a taxi. On the premises you got a pool, a bar/restaurant, with a pool table...

If you want a place where the service is substandard... They sit around and watch loud Thai soap operas while you wait to be served. The owners children scream and run around continuously. And God forbid you interrupt to ask for a water, it's like you've destroyed their day. The rooms aren't bad, pool is nice... The motorbikes are HORRIBLE...
